Anyone do the laser eye thing?

This is through a 3rd party that the Doc recommends/is affiliated with. I just figured I'd rather most of the money sit making interest in my account. I might see if there's a phone number I can call on Monday instead of using their online forms.

Anyone do the laser eye thing?

I'm booked in for Lasik on Dec 19th. So I'll be all ready to hit the slopes after the holiday rush 😁 They offer 0% financing which I'd love to use, but unfortunately they want a license or passport as proof of ID, both of which are locked in the CP mail strike. Guess I'll just get whatever cash...

    Did you exercise today?

I got mine custom made because of this issue. Works out well, welds thankfully haven't failed.

    Did you exercise today?

Currently in the middle of leg day and questioning why I do this form of torture. I use the rubber/tubular resistance bands for lat pull downs, but I have a bar across the top of my rack that I can hook them too.

Best way to get started riding track?

Racer5 should have their intro course dates out in the next couple weeks. I took FAST years ago and wasn't super impressed with it, but as I said, it was years ago so stuff likely has changed. Any course/instruction is better than none. Racer5 is nice because you can work on learning the...

    Best airbags of 2024

We're looking at getting our custom suits for next year to have an airbag in them. Just need to figure out which system before designing and measuring up for the suit.

    Did you exercise today?

I hate planks more than burpees. Back on the off-season training again. 3 workouts down plus a day dirt biking in the last week.

Wow. Shannonville Super Series sold off to RACE Moto

I think a racer running the show will be much better since they understand the sport better. I wish them well!

Things you didn’t know until later in life

So true! I'm 32 now and have no idea how we're almost at the end of the year again. When I was younger I felt like I had so much time to do stuff, now in the off season I feel like I don't have enough time to get all the 2025 race prep done knowing the 6 months will fly by.

Who's still riding? (Fall & Winter 2024 Edition)

I think my cold street ride 2 weeks ago was my last one for the year. The 599 is just too chilly with the wind and I can't really make my boots any warmer. Aside from the leaves covering the trails, it's been perfect weather in the woods, don't have to worry about sweating lol. Kyle and I went...

Here's one reason why people hate motorcyclists

This guy outed himself on a post in that GTA Motorcycle Facebook page for doing almost 300km/hr, then blocked me so I couldn't see the other responses. I will laugh when I see that his H2 has been seized or the gofund me for his meat crayoned butt.

    Art...

I have a bunch of paintings in my house that I try to get from local artists and some crappy little ones I did myself. Sacha Taylor did a huge custom Rossi painting for me a few years and specializes in automotive art. https://www.taylorartgarage.com/

Who's still riding? (Fall & Winter 2024 Edition)

I tried riding Saturday, froze my *** off. Got to Minden, turned around after 85km, so round trip of 170km. Naked bikes are not meant for low single temps and neither are race boots. Took awhile to warm back up once home. Sunday dirtbiking with a sweater on was good. Didn't need to worry about...

    Your loooongest ride.

In 2018 we did about 1600km in Scotland. Otherwise we just do day (500-600km) trips as that's all we really have time for with racing, teaching and working.

    2025 CSBK Schedule

Like I said, more Pros than Am. Pro 600 had 6 Soar racers and Pro Super had 5. Yes the amateur numbers were quite a bit lower than previous years. Am600 did have 3 from soar. 1 did opt to do the full csbk calendar last year.

    2025 CSBK Schedule

More Pros than amateur usually show up at the home track. Last year Superbike was almost won by Steven Nickerson. For amateurs it's a lot harder to convince yourself to do it as the one weekend is way more expensive than a regional round. That and most amateurs race 600s at SOAR, where csbk...
