    Alpinestars Andes v3 Drystar pants

Alpinestars Andes v3 Drystar waterproof pants. I bought them new last summer, worn only a few times, still in like-new condition, no odour. These are $360 new, I want $200. Selling cause they're a bit too tight for me, these would be perfect for someone with a 32-34" waist. Includes removable...

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

I like it. Hyundai is really hitting it out of the park lately. But I'm not a fan of simulated gear shifting in EVs.

My 42-Year-Old Friend Failed His M2 Exam

When the car in front of you brakes, it shouldn't be a surprise. Even if he brakes hard for no good reason, you should still be able to predict it in time to react. Part of being a good rider on the street is getting good at predicting what other drivers will do.

The 35k M3 was never available, just something Musk claimed would happen and never did. Not really the same as BMW advertising a car for a particular price, and then not letting you buy it at that price. There's a new standard range Model Y for $59,990.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

I'm not talking about things like fit and finish, just the feel of driving the car. The WRX is no worse in that regard than any other ICE car, the fact is that ICE cars just feel outdated after you've had an EV. Even just pumping gas is an annoying thing that I'm glad I'll never have to do...

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

I went from a WRX to the Tesla and I can tell you the Tesla just feels far more modern. I used to hate commuting, now I don't mind it because driving the Tesla even in a traffic jam is much more relaxing. One foot driving is a game changer for me. Other people love the self-steering and...

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

When/how? I don't remember. I do remember there being a very short rage version of the M3 (like 150 kms) for a while that you had to jump through hoops to get, but nobody bought those anyways, is that what you're referring to?

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

Only had it a few weeks but so far I'm loving it. The one screen for everything doesn't bother me, I got used to it quickly. I guess it depends on whether you're the type of guy who can get used to new ways of doing things, or whether you're more stubborn and hate changing what you're used to.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

I think it's deceptive, they advertise a fairly decent price ($54,990 for the BMW i4) but if you try to buy one for that price they don't let you. Maybe it's all for the best cause the base i4 is very barebones, doesn't even come with heated seats. They're physically present, you're just not...

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

I tried to buy the Mach-E a few months ago. I just wanted a base model (plus AWD) and they said those were all sold out and you wouldn't be able to get one for the rest of the year. They had plenty of Premiums and GTs. I also tried buying the BMW i4, same issue, can't get a base, have to get a...

Portelance Rd., Capreol to RT. 560

I did it in 2020 and there was a washout about halfway through that required crossing through water. I doubt it's been fixed yet. Most of the road is easy gravel but there are a few harder sections including a pretty steep climb/descent. If you're comfortable on dirt you should have no problem...

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

Yeah but that 2.4 cent rate is really tempting, it would make driving incredibly cheap. Not that the 7.4 cents I'm currently paying is bad... All you have to do is avoid using power as much as possible 4pm-9pm on weekdays. I don't know how doable that is for other households but for me I think...

    Air quality

Looking at the air quality health index, it's worst in toronto and ottawa. I'm going to nova scotia where it's better although I will be passing through the ottawa area. https://weather.gc.ca/airquality/pages/index_e.html

    Air quality

Do you guys think it's a bad idea to take a touring trip next week due to the air quality? I was gonna go for a multi-day ride and not sure if being outside on my bike for several long days in a row is a bad idea now and maybe I should postpone the trip until air quality improves.
