    Rabaconda tire changer

I just watched this comparison of the Rabaconda and the Constands tire changers. Having done countless tire changes over the last 40 years using various means and having previously owned a NoMar set up these are my thoughts.First, the Constands. Looks like it would be great if you were on a...

    Does Thin Oil Destroy Engines?

I think the bearing clearances are much tighter than what they use to be. I know a lot of old school guys don’t believe in thinner oils but that is what they are designed to run on. If you really want to blow their minds tell them that you change your oil every 20,000 km.

    Appliance Repair

I replaced the circuit board on a Whirlpool stove at a rental unit my son owns. It was the cheapest, simplest stove money can buy and yet the part was $240 from a Whirlpool distributor. You can get non-oem boards on Amazon for half that but the tenants are whiners and I didn’t want to have to...

    Appliance Repair

The two most common problems with old dryers are the door switch (they’re cheaply made) and the thermal overload which stops your dryer from bursting into flames when the lint trap or duct is blocked. Both are $10-$20 parts.

    Bikes with character...

A ‘73 like the one in that documentary sold for $25,000 US last year at the Mecum bike auction in Las Vegas. Apparently a record price for that bike.

#$%@ GP Bikes just made my life harder

Oh it had the rich Corinthian Leather alright.Despite popular belief, it was not actually from Corinthia , wherever that is. The leather used in the Cordoba was from New Jersey, some marketing guy came up with the whole Corinthian Leather thing. Mine had the aforementioned Corinthian Leather...

    Appliance Repair

I went through all that with my step kids. I was constantly fixing appliances. Don’t know how many times I had to fix the rollers on the upper rack on our Kitchen Aid dishwasher. They would jam anything that would fit into it, oversized cutting boards, cookie sheets, you name it. I was replacing...

#$%@ GP Bikes just made my life harder

Does anyone know a good body shop that can buff this out? There’s also a broken stud on the front passenger side wheel that I need to remove, I was thinking of using an EZ Out. The yellow paint on the right front fender is from the fire hydrant. That would also have to get touched up.

What Are You Currently Listening To?

Saw these guys in Toronto last year. Probably the best live performance I’ve ever seen and I’ve been to a lot of shows. They absolutely rocked the place.

#$%@ GP Bikes just made my life harder

My Cordoba met it’s end on a cold Scarberian night in 1984. It tore a fire hydrant out of the ground and slammed into a telephone pole before coming to a stop in a smoking pile of rubble (pictures to follow). The driver was thrown clear, so clear in fact that he was never found. There were no...

#$%@ GP Bikes just made my life harder

I had a 1975 Córdoba with Corinthian leather bucket seats. It was a piece of crap but man those bucket seats were nice.

    Covid Vacs

My partner has had 5 shots, I’ve had none. By the time the vaccine was available I had already had Covid and chose not to get the vaccine. We’ve both had Covid 3 times that we know of. Her bouts were slightly less severe, not by much though.

    Covid Vacs

Yes I agree with some of that but at the risk sounding like a conspiracy guy, the CIA would not make a statement like that lightly and they have access to information you and I could never imagine. There will never be a smoking gun unfortunately, China will make sure of that.

    Covid Vacs

Your right, there is no proof and there never will be. China has been less than forthcoming about anything relating to the virus and it’s origins. No amount of evidence is going to convince someone that still believes in the wet market theory rather than open their mind to the possibility of a...

    Covid Vacs

Let me rephrase that, I think that the general consensus is that the Covid 19 virus more likely than not came from a lab. If you know something that the CIA doesn’t, I hope you take the time to share it with them. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cd9qjjj4zy5o...
