So we went and checked out the place in the country I like plus a couple of others.
The one I like was built in the late 1800's (board & batten exterior) and the basement walls are made of a stone & mortar material and there's a bad musty smell down there. They had what I think was a...
100% agree even if it's not intense ... I'll just not see things or be aware of things I'd otherwise be if I'm not talking. The brain is using part of its computing power on the conversation that otherwise would be on the drive/ride.
I did the Apex Cycle Indian demo last Friday.
Rode the Super Scout, Springfield 111, & the new Chieftain with the PP112 water-cooled engine. Loved the Springfield the most ... I can see it as a replacement for my Thunderbird 1 day.
I like to blip the throttle to rev-match on down-shifts and...
Saw & heard my first Dodge Daytona Scat Pack today. He had the Fratzonic exhaust on and it sounded pretty convincing (nice V8 rumble).
It never "shifted" though so I kept expecting the sound to peak and then drop down ... not sure if it did or not as he got further away from me but it was good...
I'll still be commuting to work until I retire in 4 or so years ... will be farther than now but I can put up with that for those years and may end up working out a deal to work from home 1 or 2 days a week.
Regarding the strong return spring, consider a Cramp Buster. It's worked great on my Monster which has the same issue ... no longer getting a sore right hand.
Lots of good info, thanks everyone.
Inspection is mandatory I've learned ... depending on what happens I may be reaching out for a recommended inspector.
So I'm going to check out a half-acre place not far from Cookstown (400 & 89) on the weekend.
I've always lived on homes where I've got municipal water and a sewer system and where I don't need a snowplow to get out of the driveway.
This place has a well, septic, & a long driveway that my...
I was just going to say what @Lightcycle said but yeah if you can make more investing after tax than what you're paying in interest then it's a good move. 0% for sure is a no-brainer, take it!
I added one to my first bike and it's more so for the purposes of NOT hitting the shifter when you're already in 1st gear or already in the top gear.
I prefer them regardless of what anyone says.
Like most such things, I suspect they're made in the same factory in China but the input materials vary in quality depending on who the buyer is so brand name ICON gets the top shelf Corinthian  leather while Ali gets the fake vinyl stuff.
Reading the reviews and some have said that the plastic mesh over the top of the hand has no give/bend and can be uncomfortable so curious once you get out MacDoc.
