    Ohlins forks service centre

This is correct, I forgot about Acme. His name is Craig Atkinson.

    Ohlins forks service centre

Andrew Westbrook is in Guelph, so my guess is he's the closest you'll find to Hamilton for suspension setup. Good guy as well.

What did you do in your garage today..?

Stator rotor stays on the ninja crank, no need to remove it. Otherwise Brian got it pretty much spot on. Starter motor needs to come off as there are 6 bolts that go down through the top case and into the bottom case. The starter sits directly above 2 of the 6 bolts.

    Appliances brands?

Fridges are the only thing I get an extended warranty on. Bought one about 18 months ago, had a service call for the ice maker within the first 12 months. I'll have to check the brand of the fridge when I get home, I can't remember who makes it. It's an Electrolux fridge, checked last night.

What did you do in your garage today..?

Not in the garage because it's too effin cold, but in the basement I removed the transmissions from 3 ninja 400's and stripped them down to get undercut and micropolished. The transmission in that bike is appalling.

    Appliances brands?

Coincidentally I just replaced my sister's Bosch dishwasher for her last week. It was still under warranty so it didn't cost her anything. It is quiet, but any dishwasher that's decent will be quiet now. Her LG fridge got replaced 2x under warranty, and when it failed the third time they just...

North American International Motorcycle Supershow - Jan 3-5, 2025

Not to mention, when you pay at the door there's no HST for some reason. Online there is HST.

North American International Motorcycle Supershow - Jan 3-5, 2025

I got an email for $3 off at the show if ordered online. But there's a $2.70 fee when ordering. Not worth the paper and ink to save $0.30.

Free TCX R-S2 boots size 44

I've had these for years. They've been crash tested but are still functional. Perfect for someone that wants to try track before buying all new stuff or as a backup pair. Pickup in Guelph, but I'll be at the show this weekend and can bring them with me if needed.

    Certifications starting March 2025....

For a shop to do the new safties there are other non-automotive requirements they need to meet. There needs to be a handicapped accessible washroom, the ministry has to be informed of the last 3 years (I think it's 3 years) taxes/books, and there was something else my friend told me about but I...

    Certifications starting March 2025....

A friend of mine won't do safties for cars anymore. The horse$#!+ associated with the new safties is ridiculous. It's always been a stupid system here, but it just got worse. Way worse. In Czechia they do it way better in my opinion. You take the car to the ministry, they look it over and...

Recent movies you saw - recommend or no

I just suffered through 2001: A Space Odyssey. Why is this movie so revered? Is it just because it was ahead of it's time as far as special effects are concerned? The plot was crap, the acting was crap, the script was crap, and there was so much wasted time it could have been done is 35 min...

    Quick Jack?

The problem is a dime will stop the casters on a hydraulic jack. Admittedly I've become a complete fanboy of the airbags. If it won't fit under a car, then I'll use the hydraulic jack to lift the side of the car high enough to get the airbag underneath. The other beauty is there's no need to...

    Quick Jack?

If you have an air compressor get one of the airbag jacks. Aside from the fact that it's lighter than anything out there, they raise faster than anything else, and they lift everything straight up. You can drive one end up onto ramps, and lift the other end without having to worry that the...

    Does the car you drive...

You know how they say you should never meet your heros? Dodge Viper aside, a Ferrari was the next biggest letdown I've ever driven. I think how a person treats their car says more about them then the car they own.

What did you do in your garage today..?

Took the oil pan out of my dad's x3 and had it cleaned. Tomorrow it goes back in with a new gasket. So much sludge under the car because of the old gasket. So gross.

My Harley is dumb and fun to ride... Just like your mom.

Unless your Harley's last name is Quinn, then I have my doubts about the riding pleasure.
