Good locksmiths have software that takes the 4 digit key code and the manufacturers name and the software uses the code to come up with the correct dimensions of the key to cut. It then sends that info to a key cutter that makes the new key.
If you have an original key is there a code marked on the key? That is your code and some locksmiths can cut a new key via that code.
This could be an option also if you have the code...
Did you actually measure sag or just set it based on others advise? Preload has nothing to do with ride comfort it has to do with where your suspension rides in it's travel range. Unless you got a tape measure out and actually measured the sag correctly saying 5 is perfect means nothing...
Before writing off the tires first sort your suspension. Have you had sag checked and or adjusted. How much do you weigh? Most bikes have suspension that can barely handle a person of 160lbs.
Suspension has a far greater impact on how a bike handles than tires.
Once you can tell us that the...

The one thing I always consider with selling private or trade in is how much do I want for the old bike first. Then I consider what a trade in will actually be. Since trade in value comes off the price of a new bike before taxes are calculated sometimes it may be just as easy to do the trade...
As usual Hollywood takes what was a TV drama with some comedic relief and makes a movie that is mostly comedy. Just like they did with Starsky and Hutch.
Why not get the proper filter wrench for the size of filter you have and save all the headaches. A rubber strap style is going to slip unless the filter is clean and has no oil or dirt on it. What bike do you have? Just get the correct one for your bike ...
