    Riding course required gear

If you're looking to just get through the training a denim jacket and pants are good enough. I did that because I wasn't buying a motorcycle right away.

    Buying gear from Europe

You're right. The K3sv is a bit more elongated as compared to the k6, from what I noticed and the k6 felt much lighter.

    Buying gear from Europe

Hi @kurtrules - today I was checking out K3sv and K6 at GP bikes. The K3sv XS would fit but not the K6 XS. Did you notice that you had to go one size up between these 2 helmets. I have a splitting headache from trying out some of the XS size (not just AGV but I tried all the models and made a...

UPDATE Ride report - East Coast trip

This winter I was reading through some of the older trips. There is so much to read. I couldn't cover a lot but I have bookmarked a few for later. Shane definitely has every info that we will ever need but I would also search the older threads. Just saying... OP - good luck with your trip...

    A few days in Nevada

Wow, nice pic. The road (from the little I can see), the scenery...beautiful. Every time I hear Nevada, the first thing that pops up in my mind is Road Rash. For renting a bike, I'm guessing your Ontario license was good enough? I have never rented a bike in the US (and in Canada for that matter).

    Moto helmets

I guess people don't usually take chances on helmets, which is understandable. I have a pair of Bogotto boots which was cheap and I have had it for almost 2 years now. Waterproof and works fine.

    Moto helmets

While we're talking about fc moto, anyone used Bogotto helmets? ECE and DOT rating and they're 46% off.

    M1 insurance

Not to forget that you get a discount if you have done the safety course via an institute. Pays for itself. Added benefit is that you get to try out a bunch of bikes before deciding which one to buy. It's expensive but I think it's a good idea to do a safety course (M1X) especially since you're...

    Introduction

Welcome to the forum! Now I can say I know a real Canuck, no pun intended. The first sentence gets me a bit worried, new to riding and group rides. I'd suggest ride alone at your own pace until you're familiar with your bike and it's controls. Group rides are fun but can be a bit risky because...

    Another Bike Theft Fraud ?

If I were you I would take a good look at the senders profile here and see if they have any activities on the forum. Previously, I have had some people respond to my ads, which I was sure of being spams.

2023 Rides in the Planning Stage

Probably the same one I stayed last time when I went out to Calabogie. If it's the same one, then the host is really nice.
