    COVID and the housing market

Why not, if you decide to kick it in the Bahamas for 30 years, and then show up with whothefknowscancer. We got to take care of you after whatever the cooldown period is. So, if you want to keep your Canadian citizenship status and rights then it's only fair you pay for that privilege. As...

    Soccer/football thread 2022

Meh, I thought they played well enough. Comparatively speaking from watching them since 1990 and the disastrously "HOLD" D they usually fall into as games progress. Could of gone either way, the French got some good shots from open play but didn't look that threatening. Coulda shoulda woulda I...

Amazon to lay off 10,000 employees.

FAANGS have been hiring like crazy for the past few years and this have had a domino effect on the entire IT industry. Amazon is only cutting from their devices, which makes sense to me. 10K for Alexa was just nuts, MS & Google used to hire to keep the competition from getting the resources...

Parking a motorcycle at a hotel in Brampton for a week - bad idea?

Call up the hotel and ask if they have a secure area that you can use to park your bike. When I'm on my roadtrips, I usually park the bike by the front door after talking to management of the hotels and they all mostly oblige. It's highly visible and tips the odds in your favour. Other...

Why is Ontario becoming the wild-west of roads and highways?

I don't care what you do, just stay off the left passing lane. @PP, when you're doing 90 in an 80 zone and you see that black truck behind you, why not wave him through and let the guy pass?
