The truth is is that if they really want your stuff, they'll get it.
I would imagine the absolute best option would be a monitored home alarm connected via cell signal. I would think it'd be a professional that could only get by that.
Next up might be a normal monitored home alarm system. I...
Yup. Lots of people will tell you they know for sure what they're talking about. There seems to be so much misinformation out there concerning this topic.
Good luck.
Is there a sticker on the steering head by the VIN that says "for offroad use" or "competition" or anything like that that would sound like it's not for the street?
That's how I started. Silly '80's cruiser for a few months. Then got into dual sport with a DRZ for two years and realized how much fun single track is. Sold the drz and got a real dirt bike to start racing XC's, and did that for two years. Now into MX and loving it as you've seen, lol.
I bought a 2016 200xcw with 50hrs on it at the beginning of 2016. I raced all the OO XC races last year with a few MX races in there. Some normal riding with friends rides too. So far this year I have raced a couple OO XC's and a handful of MX races. It now has 150hrs on it. I change the oil...
I'm in the "H" section. I've had three bicycles stolen and my car opened about four times. I say opened because I never locked it. Every time they would just take my change in the ashtray, but they took my dash cam last time and that ****** me off. Call it the straw that broke the camels back...
I live just off Hanover at Queen and Dixie. I've been here for the past 15 years and as someone stated, with the price of houses I don't think I'll get out anytime soon. My wife and I had just married and had our first kid (shotgun wedding! Lol) while living in an apartment above a store...
How recent is this experienced knowledge? It was my understanding that either last year or the year before they changed it. The policy has to be active for the proper VIN and it's all in the system now. I know in the past you've just had to write it down and they basically took your word that...
Oh for fucks sake. The ******* guy posted step by ******* step how he did it. It was a dual sport bike from the ******* factory since the ******* day it was sold. That was the ******* difference.
That is why I said if it was a straight up dirt bike that should never have technically been made...
I tried two years ago with State Farm and they told me if it's in the system as Road legal they have to insure it as such.
Someone told me to if I didn't renew my sticker they could, but State Farm refused.
If it's a legit road legal from the factory bike, just switch it to green plate...
Why do you say it's not legal to register/insure? If it has a VIN chances are it's in the system (and if it's not, it should be). Kids 50cc dirt bikes are registered and insured (as they have to be to ride anywhere other than your own property).
