Homelessness Solved in U.S. Sanctuary New York City during COVID last year

That's awesome. So now that person gets a shift at McD's, loves it, and then sleeps outside still because there's not a ******* place they can afford to live. I've watched a lot of homeless documentaries and it's a very complicated issue that people think is simple. People want them to go to...

The Bad Drivers of Ontario Thread

I do wonder how many of these vehicles are owned by other people vs owned by themselves.

    Philosophical question

Not sure how this is a philosophical question. I think it's more of a physical question. In my case, where I have forgotten to give the buyer all the crap that came with the bike/car/whatever, I throw it in the garbage. No need to have **** I'll never use laying around taking up space.

    TTR50 or CRF50

I second getting an electric dirt bike. There's a guy in my MX club that had some Apollo and Sedna electric balance bikes for sale. They were only around $750. At that price, I would have totally gone that route for my kids. The fact that they're electric and he could ride it around the...

    Hot Yoga

I did Modo (which is what Moksha is now called) Yoga for two years before COVID and I loved it. I used to race 2hr XC's and then started doing MX. I was in the best shape of my life while I was doing yoga, which I would do at least one class a day and sometimes two (or three on weekends)...

    Trailers, Campers and RVs…

The gross weight is over 3000lbs. Then adding all the gear etc. and imo you're in the territory of "just because you can, doesn't mean you should". Plus putting two adults and three kids in there (and a MIL sometimes!!!!!)? But I guess that's really dependent upon if they're inside or outside...

    Trailers, Campers and RVs…

I've had my Salem FSX180RT for two years now. For me it's been great because I race MX and usually go for a whole weekend when I do. It's great to have all the amenities of home right there at the track. My friend owns a park on Lake Huron that I've brought it to for a few long weekend's as...

    Indian Scams

Fair point. The thread was started about Indians and you used "they". So I put two and two together I guess. I was really just trying to point out that a lot have done it in the past, and will continue to do it. Where there are laws, there will be ways to get around them.

    Indian Scams

So "they" do what lots of other people do, and have done, in the past? I remember hearing in the past about all those Italian/Portuguese/whatever construction workers doing it under the table. I'm sure that still happens too.

    used car scam

Do they start off with an actual description or mention of the actual item for sale nowadays? That's always been my first tip off that it's almost guaranteed to be a scam.

    GoPro mounts

I've only ever had the mounts that came with the GoPro and they are insane. I had one on top of my helmet and it caught a tree branch while dirt biking in the woods, and the damn thing nearly pulled me off my bike. I have full 99.9% confidence in the stock mounts, and that's only because...

Finished Night Sky on Amazon. Had JK Simmons so I had to try it. It was a super lovely slow burn with great characters.

    Stocks

I know some people can do the whole "borrow money to buy stocks", but I personally could never do it. I know stocks trend upwards, but that is a lot of risk to take with money that isn't yours.

    Ownership...

To check if it's stolen, run the VIN here. https://www.cpic-cipc.ca/sve-rve-eng.htm Trust me, it works....... As for the ownership thing, I would be fine with it if they had a recent UVIP as well.

Sorry, this was for my truck and trailer. I don't street bike anymore, so I never asked about that. The discount was 10%.

    LowestRates.ca

I can't remember the one I used, but it may have even been that one. The quote the site provided turned out to be accurate and it put me in touch with a broker in Weland. They put me with CAA and as a member I got a discount, which was nice.

    Licence Plate Sticker Refund Challenge

You have issues dude. Quite the exaggeration. My taxes are being sent over there as well as my fellow citizens that volunteered to join the military. I am very happy that my government is helping those that need it around the world, including Ukraine.
