Personally, I would always buy in a private sale. My first 2 questions are "How many previous owners" and "How long have you had the bike". Getting an idea of the previous owners and rough idea of the bikes history are quite valuable to me. As for financing, I have a tough time with that. Paying...
Good strategy, that's what I have done as well, sitting at overall return of 50% since I started doing this back in March.
I also have about $1000 that I "day trade" with. With wealthsimple trade, they have no transaction fees for any TSX buy/sell.
It's for the R6, that bike is just the race bike. I wouldn't consider the Woolich system for street use; the benefits it offers aren't relevant on a road-going bike.
The 5.0 at the top of the value is a modifier (Ie. you can select a bunch of cells, then click add/subtract and it'll make the same change to all the cells. It is an alternative to doing each cell value individually.
I'm new to all the Woolich stuff, so I won't be able to offer too much insight...
I used a simple FTECU one on my R6, worked well but is now up for sale. It's a simple momentary switch that grounds out ECU pin 21. When the ECU sees a ground on that pin, it cuts ignition for a pre-set time.
I've moved over to Woolich race tools system, it's a double duty switch handling both...

I don't like it. I understand it, but I really don't like it. However, if this means we will see a SS from Yamaha with their sweet inline 3 engine, I will be a happy camper once more.
Was a great ride, Hockley, Terra Nova then Superburger for lunch. Bit windy on the way back but otherwise, perfect weather.
Looking forward to Ganaraska on Sunday :)
What year is the bike? I'm assuming its low kms/new. I wouldn't bother going too in depth if the seller seems like a good person. You catch any red flags though, I'd be more inclined to go all out with a thorough inspection.
At the end of the day, inspect it enough such that if something does...
Well, that's a wrap for the 2020 race season! Some highlights from round 6 below. Got to try the wet for the first time which was a completely different riding style; need more practice in it to be competitive. Still, I did achieve my goal of placing top 5 in AM600 which got me an invitational...
Haven't been out that way all year, was planning for a weekend trip but might have to re-plan. How's the road surface? I heard they re-paved a good chunk of it?
Hey, at least if you get lit up, you got a pretty good chance of slipping away
Never got around to posting round 4 AM600 so I combined it with round 5.
Video doesn't come close to representing how intense going 3 or 4 bikes wide into a corner is :)
Enjoy!
Here's a video of the race; was very tight. Congrats to Reg on the victory and on closing the door on me pretty much everywhere.
Looking forward to round 6!
Desjardins has been really good to me. For sure worth checking out, but things may have changed over the years. I haven't looked at SS insurance since 2016.
