Had to stop here because I went through enough webs that I had a spider crawling around inside my helmet annoying me. The unmaintained trails were much more engaging.
Power washer, air shocks on bikes, lots of things it could be.
Noticed one kids helmet has a oring in the strap and the others doesn’t so maybe that’s it.
I was curious about the tire thing when I was trying to buy a 2002 car with 23,000km on it (collector). Shop said as long as the tires don't have flaws like weather cracking/etc they'll pass them. Car got scooped before i could get there but at least I know.
When I had a Corvette safetied in...
Found this broken oring on the driveway this morning so we’ll see if it turns into a busy day in the garage. Pretty much narrowed it down to either the truck or van or one of four bicycles.
This will involve standing in the garages looking around at things (which is my typical Sunday anyways).
The HP2 Sport is one of my fav bikes ever made (looks alone). I saw one in person at Mosport VRRA weekend in the back of someone's truck and fell in love.
I’m not a real fan of jerryrigging stuff like this but it does seem simple enough. The legit one is indeed pricey but you’d fetch a good amount back on resale when/if time came.
Nice cover and I’ve heard their warranty/customer service is very good (I have their Revolver X4S). Their rack system does go on sale just check around.
I'm pretty sure my Genny came with a little bottle of oil as an extra reminder.
My FIL filled his compressor full of oil (like, to the top completely) because he didn't realize this oil was colourless and since he didn't see it in the sight glass he just kept going. He called me saying it only...
We probably should have gone zero turn but I figured with how bumpy our lawn is my old bones would be broken every week on one.
Helped that I scored a 31hr 54” JD for only $1000 more than we sold our 250hr 42” for.
Yes, I have one called Topsider. It's metal and well made. Had it about 10yrs now and use it many times a year from lawnmowers, snowmobiles (chaincases) to cars to snowblower and generator. Saves me a ton of time and mess.
If anyone's interested in a VERY well kept/sorted 2019 KTM 300XC my buddy is selling his in the Port Hope area for $4900 which is a steal. It does have lots of hours on it but it's always kept in new condition physically/mechanically. I don't have the link but it's on Marketplace.
I put the bike on the center and then add enough weight on the rear rack that the front comes off the ground. Remove front and put car jack or stands under a fork leg then remove the rear tire. Same process for dirtbike although I use a jack-stand under it.
My JD E180 tractor was slowing when going up hills so I swapped in a new drive belt. YT videos all complained about what a hard job it was (mostly taking out a belt guard bolt). This people have obviously never worked on anything proper difficult as this task was a cinch.
There's a 2015 Multi 1200 in Clarington for under $10k (looks like it needs a desmo service though ($800). Includes full bags/etc.
I wouldn't snooze at a 950 version if you're mostly riding without a passenger.
