    Help with carb Issues.

99 Yamaha Vstar 650 So my bike sat for a few years, carbs were drained before hand. Beginning of the season, no issues with starting or running, a little popping because of a gutted exhaust. So I went ahead, changed the air box out for a pod system, cleaned and jetted the carbs to the...

Source? Just seemed fishy since his brother recognized the bike and helmet. Not to say impossible, just seems unlikely.

    Soon to be rider

I'm going to assume your right. Lol. I always was on trick bikes so I don't think I ever felt push steering on it. For me coming from dirt, it was different and a lot to get used to.

    I Saw You: V.2.0

Exact rider discription for majority. But a couple in full gear. (I couldn't tell different sport bikes if I was sitting on them)

    Soon to be rider

You'll understand counter steering (push steering)when you get on one. Basically push with your right you turn right and vice versa. Its not like turning a bicycle wheel. Confused me at first as it's a bit different on dirt, at least the dirt I was doing. Although I haven't ridden one the...

    I Saw You: V.2.0

To the 10 or so bikes that have flown past my house on hwy27, on the back wheel this weekend. Please stop. That's a blind hill (that you can't really tell is blind) with an intersection and farm field entrance. It claims at least 2 people per year. I've had enough of running out my front door...

    Another deadly crash

" Here lies the body of George O'Day. He died maintaining his right of way. He was right, dead right as he rode along, But he is just as dead as if he were wrong." I haven't been riding long, but even in my car I just treat it like no one should have a license. Don't assume right of way, don't...

    Looking for update?

A friend told me a sport bike went down in front of VELD music festival Saturday (dowsview park). The accident involved a car and bike. Said he doesn't believe the female passenger survived as the description he received was horrific. He HEARD the accident but another friend of his witnessed...

    beginner bikes? cruiser style

Im a beginner on a vstar 650. Its a heavy bike at ~550 lbs but is easy enough to toss around. My guess would be the pretty low ride hight. Personally I chose against a 250 as I knew highway would be a a must for me and didnt want to be blown around to much. All of the bikes mentioned were...

Anyone self employed with their fall arrest cert?

Exactly what the title says. With the new laws I need my fall arrest again. But the courses im looking at all say "employer to give on-site training" Seeing as I'm self employed thats a little tough for me as I don't have the cert. As well I dont see a point in paying 2k for the certification...

Try bypassing the switch. Basically start with a meter at the headlight. And work back to the fuse box. There is a broken connection somewhere. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Building walking in for basement - advice needed

The act is another vague statement. The mandatory coverage applys to contractors who sub contract or work for other contractors. When doing work direct for the homeowner wsib is not needed. Thats what I have been told by the wsib office at least. But really who knows. They have a hard time...

Building walking in for basement - advice needed

My understanding is that as long as the contractor has personal insurance and works directly for the homeowner wsib isn't mandatory (yet) I'm not 100% sure as it doesn't apply to me.

Building walking in for basement - advice needed

^^^ agreed As a contractor myself there is way to many shady ones. With a permit if something does go wrong you have a leg to stand on. Without one, its your problem. There is a ton of laws to protect the contractor and home owners can be easily taken advantage of. You also need to make...
