    Covid Vacs

Weird, since this also came out today and the study would not have passed any ethics board if the above were true, https://www.news-medical.net/news/20250611/Large-cohort-study-reassures-on-mRNA-vaccine-safety-for-early-pregnancies.aspx

    25'th Anniversary....and no plans. :(

They used to have a Dukes of Hazard museum too. The hotel I stayed in had Elvis impersonators in the buffet line at breakfast which was entertaining. I got into a minor fight over mentioning Shania Twain on a bus. The conference hotel had an indoor lake with gondolas on it. Nashville is...

    Inverters !

Don’t attack me but….freeze dried coffee has gotten way way better over the years. It used to be godawful disgusting crap. Now it’s actually drinkable if you choose the gourmet stuff. I recently bought some off amazon and I’m pleasantly surprised. I got individually sealed pouches so I can...

    D-Day

Big difference if your government capitulates though. One of the most poignant/sad things I’ve seen was in Pere Lachaise cemetery in Paris when I went to look for Jim Morisson’s grave site (along with a host of others). There was a memorial to resistance fighters there with bullet holes where...

Chantilly cream, and you can visit the chateau of Chantilly too! Normandy cider is famous and delicious. It’s not that far from Normandy to the Champagne towns of Epernay and Reims to try the worlds best champagnes too.

    D-Day

If anyone hasn’t been and is thinking of making it into a trip then that part of France is really very nice indeed. The food is great, tons of history (Joan of Ark etc etc). You can see the Bayeux Tapestry nearby to the landing beaches. The cemeteries are very sobering just for the sheer...

We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

If you have a friend with range membership they generally allow guests (ours does). There may be restrictions on the number per member though, ours is 2 and that may actually be an RCMP thing. There are pay as you go ranges but the only one I know of is in Stittsville Book A Range -...

    Westport Loop second attempt

Well. That place has changed! That road was more or less dirt not that long ago and the ice cream shop was in a bit of disrepair. I think some shopify people bought the Opinicon and did it all up and it certainly shows.

    Carney Scam, not political

AI is fun. I run exam questions through it to see what ******** it comes up with at times and then tinker with question wording so I can find the cheats. It’s pretty good with some things but for others it’s like the biggest *********** you ever knew at school. Convincing but total crap.

To be avoided at all cost

Go buy a lottery ticket! My sister got sepsis and had a horrible time getting it under control. All good now.

To be avoided at all cost

Sepsis is serious stuff. Lots of people have much worse outcomes so you’re lucky! Glad you’re ok!

    25'th Anniversary....and no plans. :(

Wakefield in Quebec just north of Ottawa is a nice place to visit. There’s some neat AirBnBs there and the local pub is well known for good concerts. You’ve got Gatineau park nearby to explore too...

    Anyone into gardening here?

Yep. It lagged too much. Can’t be an IP thing as this is the same one.

    Anyone into gardening here?

We used to have coyotes but they’ve not been around for a while. We did have foxes, then they went when the coyotes came. There’s a chance we have a fisher in the neighbourhood. A couple of cats have been found mauled to death recently.

    Anyone into gardening here?

4 baby bunnies in the garden now. Wife planted lettuce in the raised beds. Not sure if there’s a coincidence.

We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

Those are just hunting regs I think. My shotgun takes 6 or 7 rounds if I remember correctly (with an S&J kit) but one’s in the chamber.

We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

Our local club has walk-in’s. The other one you have to be a member of. Both have very friendly people staffing them. The shotgun people all seem to be very friendly folk.
