    Thoughts on these gear?

I mean you buy gears with your hard earned cash too if you destroy your transmission

    New Aviva Supersport Insurance Rules

You could always get the predecessor to the FZ07, it's a lot faster anyway :D

    Thoughts on these gear?

Practicality issues aside, you'll look like a doofus (or worse) wearing a full suit riding around town

    I Saw You: V.2.0

Saw a orange ZX-6RR I see in my neighborhood frequently parked outside again yesterday. Was still there when it snowed for a few minutes in the evening, but was gone later. Brave soul.

Warm weather next week but bike is winterized

I find forecasts are pretty good about temperatures but precipitation? Might as well as ask your dog

    Working out! Fitness! Nutrition!

The start of the injuries was technically a SI joint sprain suffered from squats, but I think the underlying issue was I wasn't eating/sleeping enough to keep up with the program. I have to dig out my old notebook to see exactly but I think I started the TM roughly with 225 lbs on volume day...

    Working out! Fitness! Nutrition!

Speaking of injuries, I don't think I've posted in here in a while. So back in November I think, I had a big step back in my lower back recovery. I bent down to grab something, felt a pop and just excruciating pain. Had to lay there on the ground until my GF could come pick me up. Went to the...

    Working out! Fitness! Nutrition!

Before my catastrophic string of injuries I was on the Texas Method for a while. I think personally the biggest benefit I gained from the program was simply having a set routine I didn't have to think about and it made me carry a notepad around so I kept much better track of weights/progress.

    Learn These Ticket-Fighting Techniques...Almost 100% Fool-Proof!

Well that's not absolutely 100% foolproof...a while back I pulled my driver's abstract for something else and realized there was a conviction entered against me that I had no clue happened. Had to jump through some hoops (of course created by various incompetent people) to figure out they...

    Brampton powersports closing

Never been there, but called to ask about some used bikes they had a while back. The prices were a little high IMO, and they didn't seem to want to budge at all. Obviously could be a different story in person but that was my experience.

Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

$5k for what at least appears like a pretty clean gixxer doesn't seem outrageously priced. I dunno about that grammar though :D

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

http://www.kijiji.ca/v-sport-bikes/sudbury/2016-yamaha-fz07gs-motorcycle-we-finance-good-bad-credit/1209475972 Repo'd 2016 FZ07 with 2000km for $5.5k seems alright if the bike wasn't abused by the initial owner

    Who's still riding? (Fall 2016 / Winter 2017 edition)

Just rode somewhere in the city, unless I'm mistaken it looks like the city brined the roads last night. Or at least yonge street

    Who's still riding? (Fall 2016 / Winter 2017 edition)

Rode DT to work on Tuesday, probably gonna ride in again tomorrow. I hear it's warming up a bit next week though!

    Daily observations

I was told not to do it during my riding course, but now I do it just for fun when I'm bored sitting in slow traffic. I pretty much never use the rear brake unless I'm starting on a hill and don't want to roll back

    Face meets guardrail

Not sure why that guy decided the rear brake was a great idea right there

    Clarification on lane splitting?

No. At least from my experience so far, cops don't have a problem with this. I've stopped to ask a cop a couple of times, both times they said as long as you're not riding on the lane markings you're fine. But of course beware of doors opening. I've also done it a few times with police...
