    Dropped my bike today ><

At Port Dover last July 13th I went to get off my bike and left the kickstand up. Felt like a total fool.... Until I witnessed someone else do the very same thing 15 minutes later! Another time I stopped in someone's driveway to change my gloves and stretch a bit. Got off the bike and left it...

Looking for a used bike as a new rider

I wouldn't worry too much about "outgrowing" your first bike. If you start small you are able to control it easier, pick it up if you drop it, etc. You'll get a lot of different opinions here about what is the best starter bike, only you can know for certain what is best for you. Keep in mind...

    Quiet helmet recommendations?

I hear you. I wish there was some place at the store where you could experience wind noise in the helmet before buying. I just picked up an HJC IS-16 (not modular) and the 2 air vents on above the visor are quite loud even when closed. If I put duct tape over them the volume level drops...

06' Virago, Too Good to be True?

Didn't Cycleworld or someone have a bunch of these for sale last fall. $800 to $900 as is, or $1500 with all the parts put back on them? Who knows how many miles are on them. Sounds like someone is trying to turn it into money Still, not a bad deal, but I'd offer $1600

New Rider - GZ250 Suzuki Marauder

I just sold my Virago XV250 to a beginner rider on the east end. I found it would do the speed on the highway but there wasn't anything left in reserve if you needed to get out of the way. Isn't the speed of traffic on 400 series in and around the GTA something more like 40 to 60km/h most of...

    Buying a bike situation... :(

I've had 4 bikes and about 25 cars over the years. When buying used I've found it about 50% that the owners manual is still with the vehicle, and 50% getting both keys (and remotes if available). Usually you can download the owners manual from the manufacturer's website. Yamaha has an excellent...
