good luck getting any money out of them. a friend had the sign for her business vandalized, the person was caught, charged, went to court and all, never had to pay for my friend's sign, and that was a deliberate act.
my old subaru outback got 10L/100km whether i was towing my trailer (4x8) with bike or not. didn't seem to make much difference. now if I had a larger trailer that probably would have affected things.

Was looking at going hybrid for commuting to school but found an option that works better for me. Via rail has "unlimited" student passes for $500 per semester. The commute time just got enjoyable. Will definitely look at getting a hybrid when done school.
