    Gps

I fully agree with this. I actually did have a 3rd Garmin that I had to return for a refund because it was unreadable in daylight, even without sunglasses on. Keep your receipt just in case and try seeing it under direct sunlight at noon with glasses on! Their marketing of "Sunlight Visible" is...

M2 Exit test tomorrow any tips?

Yeah you got it! It has been a while since I've had my M2 Exit but I specifically remember that this was the only thing on my test that I got ticked on... Just remember to move into the right lane after any turn you do (When ever it is safe to do so) Good luck! PS. When your going on the...

M2 Exit test tomorrow any tips?

Read the motorcycle book over and over again all the details are in there... be sure to exaggerate your head movement so they can see you are paying attention to your surroundings.... Also make sure to remember to stay in the correct lanes after making any turns. Have fun is the most important...

Don't even think about buying a "Motorcycle Specific" GPS.. They are a waste of money. Seriously, $650?? I went to Tiger Direct and bought a refurbed Garmin 5" screen for $112 and bought a small clamp that fits on my handle bars, and there you go.. a motorcycle GPS. Dont let anyone tell you...

    No fuel guage?

My 2008 Boulevard has a digital fuel gauge which looks nice and fancy but works like crap, full for the first 150kms and then drops like a rock for 30kms, I've never trusted it so I just refill every 180-200kms. My 1982 CB900F has nothing at all except a trip meter, I have yet to run out of fuel...

    04 R1 high rev on 6th gear???

There are specifications for each bike on how to adjust the clutch properly... But to answer your question if it's a cable sometimes they can stretch and start breaking thread by thread... That changes how effective your clutch can be unfortunately!!

    04 R1 high rev on 6th gear???

Sounds to me like a burned out clutch, inspect plates and springs Also could be badly adjusted clutch cable.... Inspect it and make sure it is not wearing down or breaking

Olds Cool... Post-up Pics of your 10 year or older bike!

I'm not scared, if that bike busts up that bad I would just sell it out for parts.... There are other people I know who are a lot more attached to that bike then I am, and they don't even own it... But thanks for the heads up! My mechanic is the first person on that list of people who would pay...

Olds Cool... Post-up Pics of your 10 year or older bike!

The picture you see above is literally the day I went to go see the bike when I went to buy it. The guy I bought it from, a friend of mine from work... kept it in his garage since 1985 and it was under a BLANKET. What your seeing in the picture is how it looked after sitting all that time, all...

    Seafoam In Oil

When I was restoring my 82 Honda CB900F the entire drive train was gunked up so bad I couldn't even get the back wheel to spin... After getting it running, me and my mechanic dropped seafoam into the oil and let it work for a bit to clean things up and then did an oil change.. a couple of times...

You are the 3rd person to tell me NOT to sell that bike. To be honest with you, I payed $700 for the bike (It was in pretty bad condition) I put about $600 worth of mechanics time into it, then some parts (missing mirrors ETC) so at this point I am not sure how much I could sell it for and make...

Olds Cool... Post-up Pics of your 10 year or older bike!

Here is my recently restored 1982 Honda CB900F Super Sport... Just needs a couple of small things done to it but it runs pretty freaking great considering its age, and sitting in storage for 27 years.

How do you tell a close friend he's a slob?

Sometimes there really isn't anything you can do. It's all a matter of if he has the motivation to actually make his life better. Unless you are willing to baby sit the guy through every step, there is not much you can do. You can try get him to read some books on how to build self confidence...

    Bloody high winds...

I've ridden in winds like today on my much bigger 1800cc bike and it doesn't help at all. If anything it was downright terrifying. Today was the first day I rode my 1982 cb900f with 110mm tires and it was not fun at all lol Felt all squiggly and riding sideways!
