Lane filtering will never be legal because city council doesn't have authority to change legislation in the HTA. The most would be allowing motorcycles in the HOV lanes, but even that I doubt they will really look into.
Forget lane splitting, it wont happen...
This will likely increase impaired driving charges and get idiots off the roads - maybe for good. Driving is not a right, it's a privilege. Win win in my books.

I'll believe it when I see it. Apparently it was supposed to rain all day today(at least here in toronto) and be cloudy in the afternoon. I got caught on the bike when it started pouring all of a sudden. Idiot's cant predict an hour ahead, let alone days in advance.
I would say no
unless
the lane is much wider and can accommodate a regular sized sedan then I would say you are safe, but if the gap is less than that then you would be filtering
Buddy noticed on my rear tire that there was a small nail, looks like a small Hillman nail. Stock tires have good tread and only seen 7500km of road.

I have been riding with the chain like that. I am very anal with the aesthetic of my bike and car and would very much want to make it look as great as I can. The chain is currently an eye sore for me, will continue to ride though.

Recently my motorcycle chain has more rust than normal. I had washed the bike, and as usual would clean the chain after as well. I use kerosene generously and scrub the chain rigorously with a motorcycle chain brush but there is still rust that just wont come off...
