We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

Anyone know how long it usually takes to receive your ATT in the mail? And I'm assuming this was all initiated by the gun store and there's nothing you have to do on your end?

We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

Something I don't understand: Can someone explain how there could potentially be an election soon? I always thought elections were once every 4 years.

We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

Just want to point out my situation as I was never interested in owning a firearm until covid hit. But in protest of the gun ban I decided I was going to get my license once the restrictions eased. I saw through the BS from the start of the government using a national tragedy to push an agenda...

We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

Most recent statement on the gun ban New firearms measures to combat crime and increase public safety "Replica Firearms" are also apparently on the radar for the ban. Good to know that illegal gun violence is coming to an end now that the gov't is going after kids who shoot cans in their backyard.

    Anyone here a cyclist?

Yeah and i mean the camera never does it justice. It's only when it's you staring over your handlebars do you realize the consequences.

    Anyone here a cyclist?

On the way down it's amazing especially if the bike has good suspension it just eats up the rocks. Uphill could be fun as well so long as it's short, punchy and more importantly "doable". Which I guess is relative. Unrelated but this guy is amazing.

    COVID and the housing market

Oh yeah -- I remember someone tried to submit a claim for a sub $100,000 special assessment. Something to do with the foundation if I recall. It's unbelievable - no accountability from builders for their shoddy building, no accountability from the condo corp itself - just give it to the people...

    COVID and the housing market

Yikes.. I work in insurance so I've heard my fair share of condo nightmares which also turn me away. It sucks, but I think I just need to accept it's a short term (hopefully) investment. I read a story on r/PFC where some guy's condo depreciated 100k. This happened in Alberta, Albeit the oil...

    COVID and the housing market

I think that's the goal I have to settle with too unfortunately. I don't really mind, I'm a single person so theoretically a condo makes the most sense. What gets me is the maintenance fees and the possibility for special assessments. But I think every property just has it's pros and cons.

    COVID and the housing market

I'll be in the market to buy my first home by the end of the year. The way it looks now, i'll probably have to settle for a condo - everything is just unreasonable. When I was looking even 5 months ago, houses in KW were going for around $450,000 for a decent starter house. Now it's north of...

    Anyone here a cyclist?

If you have never ridden Kelso (though I'm probably sure you have) - I'd recommend going there. Kelso Mixes the techy/rock sections perfectly. X-treem trail, Broken Spokes hell even Escarpment Traill have these rocky sections but in short bursts and are completely doable and fun. Even the punchy...

What Are You Currently Listening To?

Back in the summer when there were wildfires and the sky turned red in the westcoast, i tried finding videos of it on youtube - instead I found this band and have been listening to their albums ever since.
