Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

I can never see myself owning one but everyone I know that does will never go back to an internal combustion vehicle, home charging station is a must though.

…and I’m intrigued by your Toni Tennile connection, she was actually quite attractive in her day.

Finding four guys that want to lift anything these days is a challenge.

You may also need a disconnect beside the compressor and I always do the final connection using stranded wire in a seal tight flex. The constant vibration of the compressor tends to loosen the wire terminations, stranded wire is less susceptible to this than solid wire.

Inspector will always go by nameplate specs on the compressor, size your wire and fusing accordingly to table D16 in the Ontario Electrical Safety Codebook.

    Brian Wilson RIP

Yeah, I forgot about that connection. I think it was Dennis Wilson that was friends with him. The other band members thought he was “a little off” and didn’t want anything to do with him. There’s an old clip on YouTube of The Beach Boys performing a song written by Charles Manson and Dennis...

    Brian Wilson RIP

I have a friend that dated Gordon Lightfoot’s daughter. She lived in a little subdivision house in Stouville, she was very private and low key about her father. My buddy told me one summer evenihg he came over for a bbq and after dinner they sat out on the back porch and Gord was strumming a...

    Any electricians?

Post the specs if you can. I’m guessing it’s a 2 stage, so probably a 30 or 40 amp breaker. You’ll never run out of air, are you opening up a body shop in your garage?

There’s a pretty good Phil Spector documentary also. One reviewer called it “The rare psycho profile that you can dance to”

    Any electricians?

A 240v upright compressor, hard wired does not require an AFCI breaker. A new 120v 15a or 20a receptacle will if it’s in an attached garage, if it’s a detached garage AFCI breakers are not required as it is not considered part of a “dwelling”. Typically for a 60 gallon 240v single stage, single...

    Brian Wilson RIP

Apparently Phil Spector was his idol, he was about as crazy as crazy gets. You can definitely hear his “wall of sound” influence on Brian Wilson’s music. A lot of the same studio musicians, known as The Wrecking Crew, played on both their work. By the mid 60’s The Beach Boys were just providing...

    Any electricians?

Wire size likely won’t be big enough in the existing 120v outlet if you try to do that. Always run it at the higher voltage (240v) on a dedicated circuit if you have the option. Your lights will probably dim every time that thing kicks on at 120v.

    Brian Wilson RIP

We lost one of the greats today. Saw him about 7 years ago at The Meridian Centre. He seemed to be a very humble guy.People forget how influential he was.

    25'th Anniversary....and no plans. :(

Yeah, Memphis is a little sketchy but Nashville is much more upscale and safe. You won’t have any problems in Nashville. I call it Cashville and not because of The Johnny Cash Museum. It’s pretty pricey. We couldn’t find a room downtown for under $400 US a night, mind you it was last minute and...

    25'th Anniversary....and no plans. :(

For those of you that don’t have a problem travelling to the US, Nashville is a great little road trip. I would recommend 2 nights staying downtown so you can walk to everything. Head an hour or 2 east to The Barber Motorcycle Museum and prepare for a 3 hour orgasm. In the same general area are...
