    Stocks

After doing lots of research a few years ago, I started buying ETF's. Since I was with Scotia, I opened a trading account there, and within that, and RRSP and TFSA. You can certainly open up a trading account with whatever bank you're with, but I would suggest just doing it online, or calling...

    Small displacement motorcycle insurance

Blue plated (on road) bikes have no issues. It's only green plated (off road). Source: My partner and I have GROM's.

    Benching ZX10R, buying KLX300 for a year's use.

I'm curious how you think a 300cc bike won't survive? I have a GROM and I'll take that everywhere except 100km/hr roads. Sure, I won't get where I'm going fast, and I'll take all the side roads, but isn't that what you want to do on a bike? If you're shooting straight up on the highway, the...

    Right of way, Wrong?

I don't know the law, but I would say you're wrong. In my view, what you're referring to is an intersection with two stop signs. So those facing stop signs have to stop, while the others don't. So I think, just like a four way stop, it should be treated like that for anyone with a stop sign...

To Censor or not to Censor?

Since the sale to a company it is this way. Before, it was way better, where people could have conversations without fear of being banned. I always referred to that site as a place for adults to go, whereas I find this site to be way too PG.

I really enjoyed that one a few years ago.

    New Kawasaki electric bikes

I mean, I know it's an ICE, but with those specs, just get a Grom for less than half the price. Sport bike styling, small and nimble (while very comfortable), less than $4000 for a really good used one. People are claiming 2l/100km, but I have yet to get under 4.5l/100km on mine.

The Bad Drivers of Ontario Thread

The day all drivers follow all the rules, is the day I as a cyclist also follow all the rules. Sorry, not sorry. Cagers want cyclists to stop at stop signs, then will ***** and complain when they take up too much space on the road. On one hand, cagers demand cyclists adhere to the laws and...

The Bad Drivers of Ontario Thread

And the funny thing is this morning I had a truck (bob tail) hitting his brakes as the countdown was going. We both could have easily went through in time, but nope, he had slowed down so much we both had the privilege of sitting at a red light.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

As soon as I read that article, my thought was that they're running the climate system, and that's what's dropping the range. For me, that was the biggest shocker I had when my partner bought her EV. But it's not something either of us cared about because her commute is only 5 km, with free...

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

I'm curious. Does your insurance company know about this modification?

Law Enforcement - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.....

Or pulling into the wrong driveway out in the country and never exiting the vehicle at all.. I just read this this morning. So completely needless. https://www.cnn.com/2023/04/18/us/woman-shot-wrong-driveway-upstate-new-york/index.html

Law Enforcement - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.....

It wasn't common knowledge to me. And I've been with someone who works in a correctional facility for three years now. We talked about it last night and I still can't believe they don't get searched at all. The union would never agree to a strip search for their people (which I am on board...

    Bring it CF-Moto !

That 125 Papio mini bike starts at $3100 here? I personally would spend the $1500 more for a Honda Grom. I have nothing against these "off brands", but for me to consider it, they have to be at least half the cost of the big brand.

    Bike with no Ownership

If you can get the VIN from it, enter it in here (Search vehicles - Canadian Police Information Centre) to see if it's been stolen. Trust me, I found out the hard way that it works.

Has the city lost it's mind...

So you talked to your kids about the same things you talk to your friends about? How many women you've slept with? Eating their moms ass? Lol. I get what your saying, but it really just sounds like you were a great father. It makes me so proud when my son calls me after a plumbing class and...

Has the city lost it's mind...

It was probably on Nostalgia Street in Neverville. I love when old people talk about how amazing everything was "back in my day". Are things ****** now? Sure, just as they always have been. There's more people now and social media, so of course you'll hear about more.

Has the city lost it's mind...

The camera guy keeps recording as he walks over to her. He never asks he anything, just comments to the video camera. Another guy is on the phone with 911. That guy eventually asks her if she's ok, and she replies groggily that she was. Then both dudes just stand around, one filming and the...

Has the city lost it's mind...

So you're saying that neither the threat of it, nor the use of it, actually worked. Thanks for giving first hand experience. My experience was the strap was 99.9% threat only in my school by the time I started going. I can recall one of my brothers friends getting it, and it did dick all...
