Law Enforcement - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.....

I'm gonna be cold hearted... At least the taxpayers won't have to pay him to sit on paid leave for years.

    Canada Post - Huge losses

Wow.. I'm surprised someone didn't stop that... very distasteful. That said.. The guy is considered a hero and is being celebrated by a lot of people... I've seen video of crowds cheering for him.. His defence fund.. although he doesn't need it.. was over 120K the last time I saw it.

    Bobs Lake boat crash.

I don't think the fishing boat was docked when it was hit. I'm basing this off Tony Hammond's witness account.. and seeing the video of the OPP divers and where they were diving... away from shore. https://globalnews.ca/news/10519369/kingston-ontario-boat-crash-witness-update/ "That’s where...

They're cheaper IF you're shipping within their 'corridors'.. go outside of the corridors and the cost can jump substantially.

    Canada Post - Huge losses

We did it.. Not CP. How did the relabelled packages get from CP to Puro? We ship about 40m packages a year.. there's nothing "general" about the prices we pay to any of our carriers. The prices we pay are ours. Some times CP is cheaper.. a lot of times.. it's not.

    Bobs Lake boat crash.

I doubt they would charge someone for that while they were attempting to rescue people... especially if the rescuing boat didn't cause any harm while doing it.

That.. and we made commitments to the other carriers when they expanded their coverage areas, created new routes and in a couple of cases.. are getting/building new facilities.

    First step in privatizing healthcare?

It's my understanding that they no longer own the property.. It was sold to a developer a while ago.. and when their plans didn't go through.. it was then sold to the town of Markham and Shouldice is leasing it from the town.

    First step in privatizing healthcare?

I just spent a week at Shouldice.. OHIP covered the operation and "public ward" stay.... It costs extra for a semi private room. Here's the thing.. Shouldice doesn't actually have a "public ward".. only semi private rooms. I did meet a couple guys that said they requested the 'public ward' and...
