My KTM's carb is right there ready to be pulled out anytime I'd need to (and thanks to Mikuni's cheap rubber o-rings it gets pulled a bunch lately) but for some reason they made the boot connecting it to the airbox out of hard plastic so you can't separate them enough to pull the carb out. The...
I had a car certified yesterday at the Chevrolet dealer and other than the $370 cost it was painless. You can view the results on the DriveON website although other than brake rotor/pad thickness and tire pressures there isn't much else there.
If it's raining I don't want to be on the bike. If it's not raining I want to be riding it.
Buying a motorcycle just to park it and walk around just doesn't compute.
Pick a cool burger/fish n chip/etc place in the middle of nowhere and take a fun route to/from it and you'll have more fun than PD13.
That's Cooters and yes it's still there (it's next door to the GOP).
AirBnB was our choice for staying there and we found a house not far from the strip (not walking distance but a cheap Uber ride).
I have the Monster Achieve 100 Airlinks and for $40 the sound is really good. I run with them, wear them when working around the house (cutting grass, chainsaw, etc) and when riding the dirtbike and they have never fallen out. Call audio is excellent on both ends as well to my surprise.
Ever have an ugly pair of gloves that just refuse to die? I bought a pair of FIVE gloves at the Royal tent sale a few years back for $50 and they’re now sun-faded ugly with tons of miles and storms on them but the leather seems just fine.
I’ve had pretty replacement Alpinestars smx1 Air Carbon...
Watched the latest bike rumours video by Motobob and he said the Panigale V4R is in works to get replaced by a special SBK homologation model and also like you said, a Diavel V4RS with the Pani’s V4.
Haven't ridden the Duc V4 yet but like you I am curious. Seems they're all thirsty though and as much as I wanted to replace my Multi 1200S with the new V4S version it was the fuel range that kept me from test riding it ultimately landing me on the KTM SAR.
IIRC the Ape V4 is also a thirsty...
You probably know this but checking once a week likely won't cut it. Put a search-save in both Kijiji and Autotrader and Marketplace so you get notified the same day one gets listed otherwise it'll likely get snagged before you even see it if it's a desired vehicle.
Sports/muscle cars are...
South Lavant is still torn up and I would avoid it unless you’re on a ADV. I rode it today and about 5km is pretty loose gravel and another 5km of hardback dirt. 511 to Lavant itself is great and there’s a beautiful beach area at Lavant if you’ve never stopped there.
Opinicon is pretty patchy...
Planning to do some more exploring that way in the next week or so. Just a heads up from a riding friend in that area that CR4/5/15 around Tamworth is under construction now for a bit and is all torn up.
If WIX makes a filter for it I buy those as they're always the best in comparisons. If they don't, I get a HiFlo one (also excellent and as good or better than oem). Plus with either you can find them in a case of ~12 for the price of 6 saving tons if you plan to keep the machine that long.
The one main thing I like about the Shad topbox on my current bike compared to my last two bikes that had Givi's is that it can open/close without a key.
