    Any electricians?

I have to hydrotest the big tank I picked up before I put it into service. To get more air on my existing system I sometimes run multiple compressors in parallel for jobs I want to speed up. Hopefully when I get the new (to me, it's old) compressor running, that won't have to happen as often.

    Local Auto Thefts

That is the last time that homeowner gets to fire a gun in Canada. Almost certain they will take all his guns and license. Firing into the air to scare them away was stupid but it is infuriating that the homeowner will have far bigger consequences than the dirtbags.

    Blackbridge Harley

They publicly announced it. Door locked, appointments only starting today. It sounds like they don't plan on disappearing but maybe losing the moco badging. Rockys is gone too in the same announcement. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1Ac9XPhoY7/

    I Saw You: V.2.0

I know far too little to differentiate between the two. I may go back through the dash cam when he passed me to see if there are identifying marks.

New driving laws effective July 1, 2025

I prefer to put in the piston without rings and then pour molten lead in on top. Remove the piston and measure the thickness of the lead. /s

    I Saw You: V.2.0

It was silver. It seemed like he was giving it decent throttle as the tone changed substantially but it just didn't speed up much. It smelled nice.

    I Saw You: V.2.0

Saw a cool Walter Wolf 2T south of amaranth today (RG***?). Sounded nice. Oh so slow. He got on it a few times and there was just nothing there. Four pipes which I think means 400 or 500. There is no way it was making 50+ hp. Until I saw the pipes I was thinking 125cc.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

What bev doesn't eat tires? High weight, low cog and normally high hp.it would be interesting to see the environmental impacts of going through three to five times the tires as a comparable ice.

    Canada Post - Huge losses

Union asked government for help to get a resolution. Government said fine, your members have to vote on the offer. I bet union heads exploded. They wanted concessions, not to be made irrelevant...

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

More like a tune. Sprintbooster just changes the mapping for pedal vs power (so 10% pedal may give you 30% power). Tesla sells more horseower as an unlockable upgrade.

For those going, here's the map of the chaos.

    Any electricians?

There are a few electricians here. Make sure the one you get has some experience (or at least competence) with compressors. With a dedicated compressor circuit, breaker size can be very different than you would normally use for a specified wire size. Depending on the size of your compressor...

    Can we mobilize teachers?

June started in May this year. We had ~20 snow days but started watching disney movies a few weeks ago.

Motorcycle Safety Inspection - my experience June 2025

While that should guarantee a pass, it may be an expensive and time consuming exercise. A check engine light is an automatic fail for hdv, I haven't looked to see if similar for ldv and bikes. That could get you into replacing exhaust, reflash, safety, replace exhaust, reflash. What a load of...

Motorcycle Safety Inspection - my experience June 2025

Everyone wants to limit their risk. Selling a bike as safetied for a price you think you are happy with and then getting a big bill for the safety would piss you off.

    Friday The 13th Port Dover

I went once in Feb 2004. I have never seen so many camry's and pirates in one location. Very few bikes. Not my scene, I would ride anywhere else than dover on the 13th.

Motorcycle Safety Inspection - my experience June 2025

Safety for vehicles requires lights in compliance with cmvss. I doubt you could find a single aftermarket light with the necessary labeling. I'll dig through your other points when I am at a computer. EDIT: The light-duty vehicle list and Motorcycle list diverge substantially and I'm not sure...

    Can we mobilize teachers?

Higher up the tree than teachers but definitely related. I am sure this happens often. Like the catholic church, suppress, obfuscate and shift the players around to avoid accountability. Never admit fault nor change the process to protect kids.

    25'th Anniversary....and no plans. :(

How did you get an airbnb in Canmore? I thought they had that crap locked down tight to keep them out. Or are they allowed but only in specific areas?

    Inverters !

Assuming he wants it warm, the heating water is the energy intensive part. Once you have hot water, the difference between aeropress/freeze dried/nespresso barely matters for energy usage.
