Motor Vehicle Sound checks in Toronto (dB)

Sort of true. They can pull you over to do a safety or document check to dodge that requirement. They don't need to have witnessed a driving infraction to make a stop. While you are stopped, bylaw could do the noise test. There may be grounds for a challenge on being told to do the noise test...

What did you do in your garage today..?

Pretty much toast. May be possible to recover but dropping to 3v with the key on is insane. I would say a battery is dead if it dropped that low with the starter

    Damon motorcycles

It gets worse. They are following the path of other failures and rebranding themselves using buzz words. They are now an AI company. Focused on their vaporware intelligent safety systems. As an added bonus they plan on connecting and monetizing user info. Screw those guys. I have gone from...

    Quick Jack?

The hardest part is finding places for the jack so the stands can use the normal lift points. It you're a baller, you can buy the stands that fit around the jack but they cost as much as the quikjack.

    Quick Jack?

The last few times I replaced suspension I jacked all corners onto jack stands. If working under the car, I do another lap of lifting to get it higher. Lifting and lowering that way takes a while but it's cheap and flexible.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

Tesla released new model S and X. Like many bike manufacturers, bold new colours is the highlight. While they were once in the lead, they have done nothing positive in many years. https://insideevs.com/features/762728/tesla-model-s-model-x-competition/

New driving laws effective July 1, 2025

The road narrowing signs do slow down many drivers. I have found that many of the "traffic calming measures (speed humps and signs to narrow lanes) cause half the drivers to drop to 10 km/h and the other half barely changes what they were doing. Take that environment. Having the entire column of...

What did you do in your garage today..?

Short answer is maybe trickle charger works. Trying won't hurt anything. As for parasitic draw, are you sure you wired the new box in properly? Maybe it stayed on. Make sure you test that it is turning on/off when you expect.

While that is reasonable, the government (and by extension the courts) are far from reasonable wrt firearms.

    Prostate !! ?? What's the latest approach?

Lots of people use the sheath. Your system seems more elegant and comfortable as well as less prone to failure as most find out the sheath has slipped by the warm feeling on their leg.

    Friday The 13th Port Dover

EDIT: I took my Nighthawk. Weather was cold but clear. There were a few really dodgy spots about 15 minutes out from PD that had blowing snow/ice and a crosswind. I'd start on the right edge, and blow across to the left edge of the pavement. Thankfully the sections weren't too long so I could...

While security film is interesting, how did they connect it to the door? If it's just on the glazing, the glazing should stay as a sheet as it falls out of the frame. I guess the glazing putty may hold. It would definitely confuse a burglar that tried to gently tap the window to gain access. For...

Even if he gets acquitted, he loses big. Almost zero chance he is ever allowed to touch a gun again. Courts have precedent for keeping weapons after acquittal.

    Prostate !! ?? What's the latest approach?

Iron butt champion of the world incoming. Add an extension hose to the valve so it drains out below your boot and pile on the miles.

Imo a recording of gunfire is useless. Nothing you play it back on will have the light and sound theatrics you are hoping for. Firing a blank would be an interesting compromise. That would be much safer but I think you'd still be charged as you discharged a firearm. You've also exposed yourself...
