Your First Motorcycle Was a ............?

He has both, I was honestly curious. To your question it will cruise at 130 all day, not sure you get that out of the XL regardless of tank size.

Your First Motorcycle Was a ............?

Beyond better highway speeds what does it do that the klr won't?

    High speed trains

I've ridden some of those trains and 300kph in a train feels way slower than 200kph on a bike.

    More trouble in snowmobile land

That does make sense but most new sleds look like they were meant to bust powder in BC rather than a haul sledge.

    Tues or wed

Was gonna ask whose the baller with a pelican case on his KLR but those pink lines are a give away.

Sorry guys - Not 89$ but 98$. Still a good deal and even better with a 20$ shell rebate.

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

Squeeze and I spent a big chunk of the last two days scrubbing the black soot off of the rear deck. Almost looks like new.

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

Hard to beat a Moen product. After cursing the install of my POS stainless steel sink, the install of the Moen single control faucet was a pleasure. And yes they stand behind every faucet they make.

    New BMW R1300RT

Except for the world's ugliest windscreen I don't mind the look of it. BMW has built some pretty bad looking bikes but this I can live with. Hard pass on the all the electro-gizmofication.

You shouldn't have to drill all the way to the end of the bolt. I'd find out the length of the bolt, depth mark the drills an 1/8-3/16 shy of the length. Drilling carefully starting with an about a 1/8" drill and working up is a tried and true method. It's worked for me on multiple occasions...

    Dealers and Trust

Sadly my guys are a bit too far for you. They are straighter shooters who only fix what you need and don't goon you on the price. https://harrisgreigauto.com/

#$%@ GP Bikes just made my life harder

I'd just start drilling. Start with about 1/8" and keep going bigger until there's not much more than helicoil.

    Cool little tool?

I made a very similar tool that I have zip tied to my racks. I simply cut off one of the tubular aluminum adjustable height legs off of a discarded handicap shower chair and made a plug for the cut end.
