I had something similar happen to my CBR600. A small "coil spring o-ring" (don't know its proper name) had jumped out of its grove and jammed the adjuster.
Now would be a good time to disassemble your forks, see what is going on and change your fork oil.
I only have one thing to add, everything else has been explained with great maturity.
In the intermediate group, some riders focus too much on passing, and not the next corner. This year alone, I have seen 3 people pass me and then crash/ride off the track at the next turn or the one after...
Yes... If the broken bolt is not flush, you can tack on (weld) a bolt to the broken stud. Then use a wrench to remove. You can also drill a hole and use an extractor. Just don't break it off or you just make a hard job much, much harder.
I want to duplicate this bracket, with with a smaller offset:
Questions:
(1) What material should it be made from?
(2) Who could do it in GTA?
BTW, this bracket will re-position the stock caliper to allow common 296mm rotors to bolt to the hub of my CBR F2 track bike.
Thanks,
Frank
I don't think they are going to fit...I think your forks are 37mm and the F4 is 43mm.
Hit ebay or the local forums to get a replacement.

It is not from the filter! The outer ring in the inlet and the center is the outlet. As already mentioned, the debris looks like a cam chain tensioner or guide has broken up.

Calabogie will spoil you... so smoooooth, sooooo wide and soooooo much grip.
If your memory is like mine, give yourself a half day to learn the track. If you memory is better, then never mind ;)
The old Interceptors can make an ok track bike, but you will need aftermarket rear shock, and at a minimum, gold valve emulators in the and much stiffer fork springs.
When I first got my 86 VFR on the road, I did 2 years of trackdays with it. It was OK. I spent $1500 on the suspension (stated...
My 2cents:
-Hydration: Michel Mercier has a great guideline: if your pee is yellow, you are dehydrated, drink apple juice!
-Take notes!!!!
-Believe the feedback and try hard to apply it.
-Work on being smooth, and the speed will come with almost no effort.
Michel Mercier is the best instructor...
My track bike will need new pads soon. I have been running the EBC HH and they have been great at Shannonville and Calobogie. However at Mosport they tend to pulse. (uneven pad deposition?) I really don't think they warp as they are OK at the other tracks.
I have read good things about DP...
