I work for several insurance companies and having my license suspended due to the same SNAFU I can assure you it does not count against you. Admin suspensions won't affect your premiums. I spoke with several underwriters (TD & Unifund) they all said the same thing. Don't sweat it.

I think their focus is stores selling "guns and ammo" Although I don't know of any store in the city of Toronto that sells fire arms ammo or any combo of. In fact I think the nearest store that sells that type of product is Bass Pro and Target sports....
