Even if it's been a year since you first got your M1, and you therefore qualify for Jevco, the rate is going to be $2430 for liability only. Jevco had a rate increase on March 15th and it specifically targeted younger riders on the smaller bikes (using the old rates, it would've been $1780)...- Aleks Hara

Welcome!! With the insurance companies I work with, chances are you'll start at the beginning/new rider for the first year but will see your rates drop by half for the second year and going forwards. Please can someone explain why?!
Most of the big claims in insurance these days come from bodily injury and third party lawsuits. You can in theory pack your Yaris with 4 passengers and then crash into another vehicle carrying 4 more (working in insurance gives me a colourful imagination).
