    New Rider Excited for Spring

It's a great idea if you're that close. ---------------------- I still do a little PLP every spring. Not just to get rid of the winter cob webs from not riding but also to do a shake down run of the bike to see if there are any problems that need to get fixed.

    New Rider Excited for Spring

Congrats on the new to you 500R. It makes a nice inexpensive entry level sport tourer as well. I suggest a little PLP (parking lot practice) in the spring to get familiar with your bike.

GS500F having a difficult time starting

Although I don't have a GS, my 500R is very similar with the only major difference being liquid cooled. That said, I've never had issues with starting the bike even at temps of around 4c. Typically when 500R's or older EX's have issues starting and it's determined that the battery volts are...

Fuel Stabilizer - Which one do you use?

You're right and I know that. I just meant to say that I don't don't even bother filling up with non ethanol 91 octane for storage and I've had no problems. My engine isn't designed for it. Runs hot and ruins the plugs. BTW, you can get non-ethanol 87 octane at an independent gas station on...

Fuel Stabilizer - Which one do you use?

BTW, that's with 87 octane containing ethanol. No issues in the spring. Starts up with no problem then I ride till I hit reserve so that I get the full benefit of the seafoam that I had put in.

Fuel Stabilizer - Which one do you use?

Agreed. Not only does it stabilize the fuel but it helps keep the carbs clean.

For the same reasons I get off at Eglinton Rd from the 427S and take either Martin Grove or Kipling south.

    suggestions for 600-1000cc sport tourer?

I understand. I have the same attachment to my bike as it's my first bike. I've been thinking about buying another bike for some time (going sport-tourer). Besides the money for another bike I'm having a hard time parting with it since it's in fantastic shape and costs me next to nothing to...

    I Saw You: V.2.0

Agreed. C- Note - There's actually a lot of good African cuisine if you're willing to try it. ------------------------------------- Black GSX-R south bound on the 427 near the Airport around ~930am. Nice machine! Me: On the black 500R taking it easy on the way to work.

    Intercom for 2up riding

I'm thinking of trying this app out now that the wife has moved to an iPhone that can support it. Question for those that are using it, what are some headset/mic options?

First ninja 300 for sale on kijiji?

Given the choice between the Ninja 650 and the 300 I would prefer the 300. IMHO, Kawasaki did a nice job with this package.
