    Speeding ticket

You do not gain points for 10 Km over, but it is still an infraction as far as insurance is concerned. One is probably not a problem with most insurances, second one could affect your rates. personally I would consider fighting it, just for the insurance issues. There are lots of threads here...

    Searched & arrested

I thought that was only US border guards that search electronic devices without a warrant...did the law change to allow all LEO to do this?

    Dyna Beads

This topic came up in another thread on balancing tires. So I was thinking of using Dyna Beads or a similar product(someone suggested air-soft pellets). I would like to get some feedback either positive or negative on the use of dyna-beads as a quick easy way of balancing tires from riders...

    Spools Snapped Off...

+1 I just did this for a M8 SHCS that had the head broken off. Just get a good drill bit, take you time drilling and then use an extractor.Works good and only costs just a few bucks for materials.

    Is it leagl?-not HTA related

I think you are missing the point. You never shoot when there is someone forward or the muzzle. This is a basic rule of firearms safety! This was not a life and death situation.

    Is it leagl?-not HTA related

Since he has generated some gun related interest with the police, a inspection from a firearms officer with a warrant could be in his very near future.

    Is it leagl?-not HTA related

Nope there are exceptions...which this person may qualify. Still think he is going to be screwed for firing the gun...but probably not on a storage charge. http://laws.justice.gc.ca/eng/SOR-98-209/page-2.html#anchorbo-ga:s_5

    Is it leagl?-not HTA related

Actually hunting is typically restricted to daylight hours, not shooting. Second, not a cabinet, but a locked enclosure, which a locked house would qualify. Besides the restrictions on storage do not apply for control of predators as long as a firearm can be discharged legally.

    Is it leagl?-not HTA related

Sure, if he can prove that the kids were behind the muzzle and in no danger then it might not be careless. But firing at an animal that is not attacking you with kids very close calling out to the dog sounds pretty careless to me. Since the kids ears were ringing for hours it sounds like they...

    Is it leagl?-not HTA related

While the shooter may have the right to discharge a firearm on his property legally, depending on the local laws, the courts would take a very dim view of someone firing a gun when there are children in close proximity. A load of buckshot can travel 50' in a very short time. That alone sounds...

    Paking lot practice question

The condo owners may not an occupier but I believe they are the owners of the common areas? Maintenance and upkeep of these common areas is a big part of the monthly fees, which makes them responsible for the property.

Police gain more ways to impound vehicles

Actually I agree it is pretty funny, there are enough stupid drivers on the road that should be suspended from driving, and the province targets people not making support payments.
