New rider... live near University and Adelaide, hard to find a nice big parking lot to practice in without having to ride pretty far in traffic. Know of any good spots?

I just got a suzuki gladius today (my first time riding since my MSF 3 years ago). It's also a 650 and is quite manageable as far as weight, clutch, brakes and reach to the floor. Although the throttle needs to be finessed very gently...

ya man. gonna rack up some solo k's, maybe take the rti course on group riding, and then hopefully Big Red (my bike lol) and I will be ready to roll
