    CBR125 Dual sport

I totally remember you. That is such an awesome bike you've got, and it would probably make a half-decent decent dual sport too. It's got the right rim sizes for the tires and I bet it would rip like stink off-road! A 250cc 4-stroke single cylinder bike that only weighs 250lbs and has 24hp with...

The spill was fun too! Haha My muscles will probably disagree tomorrow morning, but I definitely had a great time overall.

    CBR125 Dual sport

I definitely didn't come out with any intention to impress anybody, just to have fun and support the ODSC. I'm glad to have surprised a few people, but I was really just there to do my own thing and enjoy myself with you guys. Maybe next year I'll show up again, if the bikes still running, and...

I really hope the weather network is wrong. I'm not prepared for a wet and rainy mudfest!

    CBR125 Dirty Bars Project

Alright. Thanks for the info. I was worried that some of them wouldn't work.

    CBR125 Dirty Bars Project

I may choose to just use cheap carbon steel over-sized 1-1/8" bars, because they are actually half the price of the aluminum tapered ones. But the only downfall is that they are heavier, and they don't have nearly as much flex capability, which can make it a lot less comfortable. But both of...

    CBR125 Dirty Bars Project

I actually know a guy who did something similar. He used standard 1.25" bar risers. It looks cool, and I'm sure it works great, but I really want the motocross bars on mine. This is what his bars look like, if you want to compare them to mine: Anyway, your idea to cut off the stop tabs...

    CBR125 Dirty Bars Project

Alright, so I figured I would make a new thread for this to start fresh. This is a continuation of my "CBR125 Dual Sport" thread. http://www.gtamotorcycle.com/vbforum/showthread.php?154586-CBR125-Dual-sport You can view pictures of what my bike currently looks like here...

    CBR125 Dual sport.

It actually wasn't originally my idea to do this. I was inspired by this guy in Saskatchewan who decided to throw some knobbies with ice studs on his CBR125 and ride through a foot of snow everyday. http://www.hondacbr125r.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4950...

I don't think drilling through the embedded badge will be the problem. I'm worried that maybe it won't be safe enough for the bar clamp to have enough structure beneath it? I don't know, just speculating I guess.

    CBR125 Dual sport.

Well, I don't think drilling into my triple clamp will be possible, because there's this annoying honda symbol built into the flat part that I assume you would intend on drilling into.

    Shaky camera/Wind too loud.

@toysareforboys Yeah, this camera has O.I.S. and an adjustable zoom lens. It's no wonder the thing takes crap video. Do you know if GoPro or Countour have the standard camera screw slot in the bottom? I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the GoPro has it's own specific mount. Could you...

For a DIY camera mount, I thought I did a good job. :)

    CBR125 Dual sport.

You know, it does seem daunting, I'll admit. But I've always been great at figuring out everything else to do with my bike. I don't think I would have a problem taking it all apart and figuring out a way to mount everything I need. That much, I should be able to do myself. I've taken apart my...

    CBR125 Dual sport.

It's easy to bake a cake if you work in a bakery. But if it's that easy, I would be willing to pay someone to do it professionally, rather than someone like me who has no clue what they're doing. You'd need to drill into the triple clamps to install the bars, which sounds easy. But the bars...

Always tons of views, but very few comments.

@GayManLoveIsOK I'd say there's a pretty big difference between a "troll" and a "lurker". I hope never to have to deal with trolls, because they're usually bad news. But I guess this thread seems to be a bit of a troll magnet as it is. Lurkers are exactly the type of people this thread is...

@afong56 Thank you for actually replying to the original topic of the thread. The intention of this was to offer constructive criticism towards the viewing/commenting of threads, not to incite useless chaos. I think you (and a few others) got what I was originally trying to say. According to...
