I must admit, riding down to South America is on my bucket list. Some of the safety tips I've come across is to travel during the day and stick to the major toll roads. This does not look like a major toll road.

Wow, not a lot of cyclists on this forum eh? Narrowing roads to add a bike lane is a great idea. I live in the downtown core and riding a moto and a bicycle is by far a hell of alot quicker to commute than a car. Only issue is car drivers get all squirrely being jammed up in traffic making it...

Good idea! Except the inside of the tabs is not straight. There's some weird angles in there. Maybe I'll try an aluminum sheet and see if I can bend it flush somehow, then jbweld the whole thing together...
Streetfighter headlights have plastic tabs to mount on fork brackets. These broke after a few months of use. I've ordered up another headlight but now I need to figure out a DIY way to reinforce the plastic tabs so it doesn't break again. Quick and dirty works, doesn't have to be pretty...
