    when i lived in guatemala, i would borrow my billet families 90(?) TDR. it said 240 on the plastics, not 250. it wasl blue and yellow, but with a different bikes red rear fender. would this bike be the same as a TDR250 from up here?

    +1. ive replaced many leaky fork seals (never on my own bike) due to excessive force on the strap. it doesnt need to be completely compressed. better yet, use to fork brace i made mine from some abs pipe and t-connectors that were cut in half. i use to use a 2x4 with a tire notch cut out

    i went to several bike shops with a buddy, we walked around, looked at some stuff, noone really approached us, or they were with other customers. since we were browsing i didnt care. hje ******* the whole way home about bad service. don't be like my buddy. tell us what was bad about the service.

    i find that the retractable ones are great as long as you don't put too much tension on them, such as tying down a motorcycle. i use mostly use these: work great. soak them in soapy (very hot) water then dry them off manually and use chain lube on them. they have never failed me...
