When I did my m1 course the people that had never driven standard had a hard time. It definitely helps. Its hard enough learning how to ride a motorcycle, I imagine itd be alot harder if you had to learn what a clutch is at the same time. But I still know a couple bikers that have never driven...

Any gps app should be able to give you directions offline, you will just have to enter your current address instead of using the phones gps to tell you your location. But thats alot harder than it sounds most of the time.

Good to know, thanks! The road conditions are probably my main concern. I don't want to get stuck riding half hour through a dirt trail to get to the campsite. I don't mind rough roads, but I want to avoid dirt and gravel. I've tried to call some sites to see how motorcycle friendly they are...
