Yeah I guess rev matching is good technique and all, but small displacement engines like the ninja 250 have less aggresive engine braking. You can get away with sloppier downshifts without the rear wheel locking up that often.

Look up the specs of your bike. It will list the size of the reserve tank. Use that number and your average fuel economy to figure out an approx. range. Aim low not high.
