i ride the dvp on my ninja 250r, i had close calls with side swipers and jerks who want to race me (like i don't see the point in beating a 250...lol), but like djbordie said: just scan and hazards can be avoidable most of the time.
Going out for a ride now. Me and a buddy just wanna ride around and get some burrito grub. We're gonna pass by king's circle and chill for a bit. We'll be there around 830 tonight. Anyone is welcomed.
The meet is at king's circle downtown U of T. The ride itself varies from leader to leader but its usually around Toronto, and yes it can be a newbie friendly pace, just make sure you mention it to the leader and other riders.
Welcome to the community and good luck on the m1 exit! Regarding what bike to get as a starter, I was in the same position as ninja250r.se, and I'm still riding my ninja250 on my 2nd season. I would suggest a 250 but only if you're comfortable :).
Me and my buddies are gonna ride around Toronto tonight and end it at L&L, if anyone is interested.
Relaxed pace, noobie friendly.
