I think it's a great idea to organize a peaceful protest to raise awareness of motorcycle thefts. We're a special interests group of motorcycle owners and it's a legitimate cause for us to bring to the notice of the general public that motorcycle theft is a problem that needs to be solved...
I have a RS Taichi perforated leather jacket. I believe that it's as crash-worthy as non-perforated leather but the issue for me is that it feels too cool in all but the warmest of weather. When I leave for my ride during the day it feels fine but by the time I get back home in the evening I'm...
I got an expensive Scorpio alarm and got it installed by a cheap bike shop. They messed it up so badly that my battery started dying. Then I had to pay Honda to take it out. They told me that the original installer had done a "hack job."
I suggest getting it installed by a proper dealer and not...
I was going on the Gardener in my car in the 100 kmph zone and just as I noticed a cop I looked at my digital speedometer and it read 118 kmph. My friend who warned me also saw the speedometer reading 118.
I braked but the cop pulled me over. He came over and told me that I was doing 142 kmph...
I just bought a twin pack of the Cardo Scala Rider G4 Bluetooth headset and I'm selling one set with the box and manual. It is the corded microphone version which fits into a full-face helmet.
SOLD
My Scala Rider G4 fell off my helmet the fourth or fifth time I wore it. It doesn't attach very firmly to the base. I think it came off when I turned to look behind and it probably caught on to the shoulder of my leather jacket.
But it was very good while it lasted so I've ordered another one.
Hey, hey, hey, passed the test today with 3 points.
The secret to my success?
1) I read all 42 pages of this thread and picked up all the tips.
2) I read the Motorcycle Handbook.
3) I did a practice run of the test route (Oshawa).
The Oshawa route is exactly as Post 411
I had two nice...
Re: GTAM - The Members & Their Bikes...
I know, but I must admit for me it's a goal. :D
Whoever had the baddest bike, prettiest chick and leans his bike the lowest wins. Check out that pic posted by kellen. All three riders have their knee down.
Here's a great video on YouTube on knee...
Re: GTAM - The Members & Their Bikes...
At FAST school. I'm sure I nearly touched my knee on the ground but this picture doesn't show it. Next time I do a track day I'm fairly sure I should be able to drag my knees.
Re: GTAM - The Members & Their Bikes...
Could Yetti kindly explain the meaning of G-town? None of the meanings in the Urban Dictionary fit the above context, therefore there must be another meaning that someone could add to UD. My initial guess is that G-town might be the same as Big-O???
Re: GTAM - The Members & Their Bikes...
Okay, so I'm convinced, Busa will have to wait, I'll get one of these next. :p
The only issue is I hate to eat bugs. :(
Re: GTAM - The Members & Their Bikes...
Actually I was exaggerating - my wife wouldn't care if I add some people from GTAM as friends on Facebook. In fact she encourages me to make friends.
I don't even use Facebook much but I find it to be an odd phenomena. The way it works anything you say...
Re: GTAM - The Members & Their Bikes...
Why are some people getting their panties in a bunch about Facebook? Consenting adults adding each other as friends on Facebook is an entirely legitimate activity. And isn't GTAM all about exchanging ideas and making friends?
As soon as I...
Re: GTAM - The Members & Their Bikes...
Thanks for the tip. I finally found her. Unfortunately I can't add her as my friend on Facebook as it's patrolled by my wife. I need to create a second account for my philandering. :D <-- got that idea from my son who has one account for family and...
