Anyone using one and/or recommend it on a SS? I figure it would help the passenger stop from leaning on your back when braking etc... is it worth buying one?
To those of you that can only ride 3 maybe 4 days of the week (usually having to wait until the end of the week to ride) do you feel nervous, almost scared during that first 10mins of jumping back on your supersport bike?
I find if I can't ride for days due to rain or other reasons and I get...
Me: Black R6
You: Yellow Gixxer
Just curious why the need for a full tuck on the 427 this morning, I was pacing you at 115km/h... Not even that windy + cutting off cars like you're a moto gp racer.
Hey all,
Used to live in Mississauga now I'm living in Richmond Hill. Anyone down for some riding PM me, not very familiar with any good routes but I'd be down for any small group rides etc.
Good point. See I wouldn't buy them to purposely use them on the street. It would be more for piece of mind that if I do some how get a knee down it wouldn't be my skin grinding on the pavement. I just see a lot of riders in full gear (knee pucks and all) on the street. Didn't know using them...
I will always wear my boots, especially after seeing that photo posted here a while back with that guys foot skinned down to the bones. Maybe I need to check out some bare bone knee sliding accidents and I won't be so on the fence about buying some leather pants w/ pucks
Do you think leather pants with knee pucks is overkill for street riding? I always wear my helmet, leather jacket, full gauntlet gloves and racing boots + jeans. I feel comfortable leaning over and sticking my leg out slightly but never too far because I fear I may eventually drag my unprotected...
Sorry to hear about your spill but thanks for the entertainment. 20+ started threads on stupid **** like picking up chicks on bicycles downtown and what to do when your bike gets wet and over 193 posts all in 2 weeks. Then you dump the bike today? Lol wtf man!??!??!
I'm sure a lot of you ride to work and get the itch to ride on your lunch hour. My question is what does your 1hr sprint consist of? I mean a lot of you probably can't make it to the forks and back during lunch, so where do you go? - anyone know of any good roads near the airport?
Re: Radar Zone - bayview & steeles
You sir just costed this poor fellow a speeding ticket (http://www.gtamotorcycle.com/vbforum/showthread.php?170774-****-me). My post could have saved him if he saw it this morning as my title was "Radar Zone - Bayview & Steeles"...but you moved it! Oh well..
Radar Zone - bayview & steeles
To all riders (especially noobs) riding north/south on bayview between steeles ave and cummer ave be aware! 50 zone - radar both ways, cops hide behind the telephone poles. second day this week they've had this setup. So easy to want to go 60 as the flow of...
This weekend was great for practicing too! I just bought an R6, a big step up from the SV and I've yet to really practice any slow maneuvering or turns, etc. so this past Sunday I found a big clean empty parking lot and practicing slow turns around, turning out 90 degrees, etc all slow-speed...
Hi All,
My friend has not turned on her 2009 GSX-R 600 in 2 years due to expired M2 and other issues. Tomorrow I will be doing an oil change and draining out all the fuel because she doesn't remember if she put fuel stabilizer in it or not, besides 2yrs is probably too long anyways for the...
