Yes I know and besides you usually take off and are too far ahead of me to do any damage when we go riding off road. I was referring to debris falling off dump trucks on the highway like small pebbles, etc. which have hit the cover and bounced off instead of hitting the headlight and cracking...
I got the silver Polycarbonate Altrider one. It's excellent and has protected the bike's headlight on many occasions.

One time fee in both cases. I bought them through the Garmin Smartphone Link app on my iPhone but can't recall what I paid for them. It wasn't a lot but I really, really like the features they bring to the Nav V experience.
Congrats on the new bike! You should look into getting a set of knobby tires and a guard for the headlight. Also sign up for traffic and weather on the Nav V, it's well worth it.
Enjoy!

Selling my almost new Shoei GT-Air inertia helmet. I purchased it brand new in May 2015 from Budd's Motorrad in Oakville. I've worn it about six (6) times and it just doesn't fit me properly so I have gone back to using my old Shoei helmet and am looking to sell this to someone who can use it...
