we usually decide on a route/length of ride once we all meet up there and depending on who is there we come up with somethin that will work out for everyone so for example if we have a new rider and he is not comfortable with highways then we find and alternate route. in other words everyone...

I dont know when they changed the format but the class was devided into 3 groups ..so there was an award for one person in each group. they did not tell us our lap times though.

once again thank you all for your help and advice. the track day was amazing and dragging knees is just too much fun lol. Keeping hydrated really helped. Everyone was friendly and the instructors were amazing in terms of their knowledge and teaching skills and just all around cool dudes to hang...

i hope the weather holds up...

been off the bike for a week...weather is looking good for tomorrow so i will be at the spot around 630pm.

i also worry that if I buy a helmet online, it might get dropped in the shipping process so I choose to buy them from local stores. (the ones in the local stores are also subject to being dropped in the shipping process but they have already made it to one destination and no need to take that...

like you mentioned, the first two categories will be similar in my opinion as well. I agree with Metastable that just because you are in the beginners category does not mean that you will learn any less, but I think if I'm surrounded by riders with skill sets that would encourage me to go a bit...
