I'm looking to get outside of my comfort zone this weekend and head out and explore the areas west and north of Mississauga. Does anybody have any good routes to ride? What should I bring in order to not get lost? No highways as I'm still on M1 license and CBR125 power :P. Would love to visit...

Saw a really nice Ducati on 404 South past around Finch exit, poor dude went onto 401 with me. I got stuck for 4 hours. Don't know about him.

Took me 4 hours to get from Woodbine/Steeles onto 404, to get home to Mississauga near Square One in car. Had to pee in lunchbox during the trip... :'( RIP Lunchbox, was good knowing you for 2 years. Also surprised a trucker while I was doing the deed, he kept looking back as he drove forwards...

Is it ok to come and take a look? I'm still on my M1 so no night riding, nor do I think I'm good enough for group riding either. Also it looks like y'all got great bikes! Are all bikes welcome to come? (like a CBR125R) :P

Does Rain-X pose any health risks? And no I don't usually plan to ride in rain. But better be prepared then get caught with pants down!

Saw a really muddy (I guess dirt bike?) going south on Mississauga Road and then east on Lakeshore Road. Was riding right behind him until he sped off lol. Where do you go for dirt biking in Ontario? First time seeing such a muddy bike, the guy riding it was all muddy up too lol!

How much power do those bikes have? Plz don't tell me 125+ cc... lol.

What does trip interruption and return vehicle benefit do?

I bought a pair of those yellow pants they have in Canadian Tire for rain gear. Do I need the jacket part? How will it affect riding?

I got it registered and insured to my name. But like other posters have said, buying the bike isn't the big problem. Its whether you can get insured and at what price. (which depends on age, license type, how long you've possessed the license, and zip code) Also start with course, they teach...

So even within bikers, there is discrimination between engine sizes. I ride a toy motorcycle :P And I thought bikers were all cool...:confused:

What are some things to be aware of riding in the rain? I'm afraid the 07 CBR125 will low-side the moment I push steer or have to do right or left turns with the thin tires lol.

I believe St. John Ambulance divisions may take used helmets as well. I know my brother in law has one for his division, I'm not sure what rank he is but he leads his division as well as does training.
