I use an rLink (http://rlink.com) on my bike. It's not perfect (or cheap), but it makes noise, sends alerts to your cell phone, and has GPS for tracking. Mind you, I doubt the GPS will work in the back of a cargo van, but if you put some other deterrents hopefully it will alert you quickly...

I'm 6'2", 220 lbs and I found the 250 too small for me. I ended up with a Ninja 400R and completely glad I did. It's not twitchy at all, very manageable power and still has enough power for the highways...
