my buddy went in the morning and got his M2 without rewritting the m1. I guess as long as they get the sealed envelope, they acknowledge you passed your m2.

My coworker got his M1 this year August 18 and passed his Motorcycle Course at Sheridan the week after. He totally forgot to go to MTO to have his M2 registered after the 60 days grace period. Obviously his m1 is now expired and hes not sure if he has to start all over again to get his m2...
I should have included that im taking the M2 course @ Sheridan 1st week of august and your absolutely right. I was looking to buy the bike now while waiting to get the M2. I was hoping, I could practice the basics and get to know the bike better.

Thats why Im a bit confused. Were allowed to drive with just an M1 but how can we if we cant get insurance for it?

Cool. Did you get to register+insured it to your name? I actually want to be able to drive it without getting a ticket.

Been lurking for the past couple of months. Just recently got my M1 and looking to book my M2 @ Sheridan soon.
Im so lucky to come across this forum as it helped me from safety, insurance and my first choice of bike.
Im looking to get the new Ninja 300 and hoping anyone in here got the same...
