I put a Stebel in my S1000RR. It's hilarious to blast it and watch other drivers jerk on the wheel and try to locate the source of the sound. I split mine and mounted the horn in the nose, with the compressor under the rear seat.

I don't understand why most of the dirtbikes were trying to load from the ground when there was a hill <10 feet away. Back the truck up to the hill and ride DOWN into the truck. And why do these people think they have to take a run at it? What did they think would happen?

Re: BMW s1000r + long distances The s1000rr does get hot. I find that if I'm wearing my armour pants, it's noticeable, but not a problem. Other than that. it's a great distance bike.
