If that's the section of highway I'm thinking of, it's difficult NOT to go between 150 and 200. Once you hit that curve (before the ramp) the highway is smooth, wide and empty.

I was looking at those custom plugs, but I heard from some riders that they really give you the "plugged ear" feeling. The pressure doesn't equalize for whatever reason. Is that true, from your experience?

That's exactly what I was referring to. But messing with Rake\Trail is touchy. When you're going for a geometry change, it's mm's at a time. I just flipped the eccentric mount on my rear shock (2mm change) and it made a big difference in the handling. But you can't see it by looking. That bike...

I did this once at the VIA station in Belleville. I was on foot and waited for the guy to circle the parking lot and come back to the station. When I walked up with the garbage, he cursed me out and drove off. It felt awesome. You just have to take a deep breath and go for it.

The first video reminds me of the V10 era in F1. The Mazda LeMans car is one of my all time favourites. It's otherworldly, like the the River Styx has suddenly given up the souls.

That's not what I meant. It's the way the BMW makes it's power that catches you off guard. Off the line, it's average. But over 7000-ish, it just explodes down the road. You could see that in both the runs on the video. I do like that Ninja, though. Very cool bike.

Just to wade in here, the S1000RR is shocking the first time you ride one. You simply can't believe how much top end pull it has. I'm still adjusting to mine. I must say though, the RSV4 is a beautiful bike. I'd love to try one.
