Perhaps it's just me or in my head but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Went out for a ride today (man, it was beautiful) and noticed the back of my bike ('02 gsxr 750) felt like it was veering off every now and then to one side. The only way I can explain it is you know when you hit the back...
Do they seem like a bunch of **********? Yes
Not likely a crowd I'd hang out with nor tolerate if around me. But that doesn't mean they deserve to lose their jobs over personal feelings. The reporter literally went up to THEM and asked for it. You guys have any ideas how smooth and snake-like...
Mad Max was off the flippin chart! Holy Moleeeee
An absolute MUST have on DVD
Rotten Tomatos: 99%
Ebert: 4 out of 4
Metacritic: 90%
New York Times: 2 out of 2
My expectations were pretty high and didn't disappoint. Originals are classics. The CGI in this film make the CGI in all...
Lol what a d_ick head thing to say. Almost everything you say here screams CLOWN. You're trying to insult dudes you never met before and just might in person considering most of us are pretty much neighbours.
I have a cousin in nyc (cop) at 6'8, slim, owning a gsxr 1000 and a bmw s1000. I'd get his perspective but we're not too close lol
Another distant relative at 6'8ish over 350lbs and rides a kawasaki ninja zx14r. From pics he seems to look perfectly fine on it.
I didn't imply it was, but I was referring to the cbr 600. I got the 2002 gsxr 750 and they are larger than the gsxr 600 during that era, more closer to the gsxr 1k in size
I went from a ninja 250 to a gsxr 750. If I didn't go for this bike I'd opt for the cbr 600rr (split seat). Only reason I didn't go with any 600 was they felt small for me when sat on. Think about what you're looking for in a bike and then narrow down your options.
It's not that a beginner can or can't ride a 1k cc (or 750 for that matter), but the likelihood of a beginner making errors and mistakes are pretty darn high and a gsxr 1000 for example will very much likely hurt you pretty bad (or other civilians) for that mistake made. It's not all just about...
There are hundreds if not thousands of discontinued models, makes, vehicles, etc. that have left the market entirely without making any formal announcements. I'm not saying KTM is looking for a cop out without looking stupid, but why the formal announcement then? Why not just quietly stop...
When I was looking for a bike I was getting tired of that sort of pressure. Go with your own pace and offer whatever you feel is fair value without low balling. His ad states he's ignoring lowball offers which usually means he's open to offers - but not lowball offers. With the price ranges...
I lack experience with either one but from what I've read gixxer 1000 leaves the R1 in its smoke. I'm also under the impression that the gixxer 1000 takes off too fast where the R1 takes off fast in mid-range. I could be wrong, instead of attempting to mock feel free to correct and feel free...
Can anyone with hands-on experience with both shed some light on a few of the differences and comparisons between the [2001-2003 R1] and the [2001-2003 GSXR 750]. No track comparisons.
I always preferred the GSXR 1000 for it's size but it's just to damn fast for the streets
Handling...
True, but you are significantly more tempted to accelerate or throttle when your take off is swift.
Same analogy applies to driving a corolla vs dodge viper. Viper drivers are more likely to speed than corolla drivers and getting to that "speeding" or "too" fast category happens way faster...
