Nice. Just how do you connect a sign saying R.I.P to there being a murder? Did somebody actually tell you there was a murder or did you just assume that because you were in New Jersey? It could just as easily have been a heart attack.
Glad to hear from you. I left voicemails.
Unfortunately I'm not eligible for the Bridgestone cup.
Any contingency for lightweight endurance? As for the tires I plan to use, I'm looking at the Bridgestone R10 120 width front and RS10 140 width rear on my 250 Ninja (or just RS10 front and rear)
I'm not getting much info on this. I've tried contacting Ripp Racing multiple times to see what they will be doing, but no response. Gonna have to pull the trigger on some tires from elsewhere soon if I can't count on getting them trackside.
Thanks for the suggestions, 49over. I would do that if I were doing the sprints, but I'm focusing primarily on the endurance races. I'm trying to figure out if a full dry break system is worth the hassle to install. Sub 10 second fuel stops are cool, but I'm not sure it's worth the effort when...
I'm looking to get a rough idea of the track lengths so I have a little bit of an estimate of fuel mileage during the races.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks!
I've had two 400 bandits that I've raced. Sweet handling bikes. They did not like having pod filters on the carbs. Screwed up the jetting big time. Stock airbox was the only way I could get the things to run right.
Hey parillaguy, I met you several years ago when I rode up from Buffalo to check out one of your RS250's at your house. Looking forward to racing with you in the lightweight endurance!
Been roadracing for around 31 years. Mostly lightweight bikes. I'll be bringing my 250 Ninja to several of the SOAR endurance races and hopefully my XR650R project bike out for a few sprints. I have raced bikes that cost $350.00. Kind of fun when you bust a move on a $10,000 bike with a bike...
IMO, two races should be plenty of seat time for you and give you adequate time to rest and think between races. You'll be on information overload during your first race weekend and having time to relax and chill is a key to having a good weekend. And that's not taking into account the...
I'm in pretty much the same boat as MurphSVR. I was in the middle of building a 250Ninja for Moto Series when they pulled the plug on the 2016 season. Fortunately I really like endurance racing so the little Ninjette will be the new bike for the DAYAM Racing Team with SOAR in the GTL class...
